Pure and simple

For someone like myself who is new to Advaita Vedanta this book was clear, covered what I believe to be the main points and was able to untangle several misunderstandings I had. The book is knowledgeable but short and to the point and gives a a useful list of other reputable books on the subject which can be obtained which cover the teaching in more detail.. Glad I bought it

This is a clear and interesting overview of Advaita that both explains its beliefs in context and suggests how we can apply this philosophy in our everyday lives.

This book is blowing my mind. I can't wait to read more of Dennis Waites work. The book is excellently written and even a complete Advaita novice like me can understand it. There are points in the book where I just have to stop, look around and tell myself: 'Wow! So this.is how it all is!' It blows the lid of your perception of reality.

A short, well written and concise book on the core principles of Advaita Vedanta. The book also provides some good recommendations on books that could be read, to improve one’s understanding about the topic further. I enjoyed reading reading the book and it helped me understand some of the fundamental tenets of Advaita Vedanta.

I was mostly interested in the non-duality aspect of advaita but this only makes up a small portion of the religion and the book
