There wasn't anything Arden wouldn't do for her family, even if it meant having to brave The Last Riders in their own clubhouse. There, she found herself thrust out of her comfort zone and seeing things that she was too shy to watch on Pay-Per-View. She needed The Last Riders' help to save her younger brother, but who was going to be the one to save her from them? One thing was for certain... Doom was impending.

I’m sorry but I believe that the reviews are fake cause this book is one of the worst books I’ve read this year. The hero in the book is constantly with other women (plural) Now I understand that they weren’t together but to me the way it’s written gives off bragging vibes it’s not for me. But I can’t stand books where a man touches the heroine and likes the women but then fucks other women like why?? If the book is about romance between two people why am I having to read about other women? also whilst he was going down on a women the heroine was carrying stuff out and no one helped her like really? This is the first book I’ve read that I haven’t finished I just couldn’t I felt sick. She also works too many jobs and he doesn’t care even though she’s knackered he’s also doesn’t even sound attracted to her. I’m begging you don’t read this book it’s shit! Or read it you won’t get past the first few pages. What a waste of time never again! If I could rate 0 i would
Omg! Who was the necklace for that will drive my crazy! Arden I really like her character, no matter how many times she gets down she pops back up with attitude. I like that she wasn't a doormat in my eyed.
Doom, one minute he is ok and next BOOM! He goes off like z rocket when it concerns Arden. However, he does have a mushy side.
You have some drama, heartbreak, love, and anger. Everything that makes a good book!
Leaning more towards 3.5 stars with this one. This author always injects way to much reality into her epilogues so instead of ending the book feeling like I just enjoyed a good romance story, I’m always so bummed out. Makes it hard to focus on what I liked about the book. Which was mostly Arden and also Mama. Arden really stole the show for this one, I liked her a lot even when she was being super impulsive. I liked Doom too but I felt like we didn’t get to know him as much as Arden. I’m happy we have a whole new chapter of bikers stories just waiting to told. I think Moon is next but I’m honestly more interested in Wizard or even Burn.
That was FANTASTIC!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I liked it so much, I bought the paperback ❤️ Another gal who attracts soooooooo much trouble (not intentionally)!! Definitely LMFAO at the end of chapter 2, loving this gal!!🤭🤣 Arden irritates Doom so much that “the muscle under his eye began to pulsate again. Should she tell him that he should have that tic checked out by a doctor?” 😂 She’s so brazen, and it’s awesome!!
🍰The other men/MCs seem to be infatuated with cake, these Last Riders; men & women (Ohio), are selling their souls for meatballs and garlic knots 🤪
Oh wow, I love how Arden’s dad got her mom💞
🔧As adorable and accurate as why Doom named Arden “Tink”, (always Tinking around and fixing things) I think Tinkerbell suits her, as she is sly but helpful, sweet but can be cunning/vindictive, has plans & goals in mind, rushes into things without seeing the danger first🧚🏻 and cares about others soooo very much💗
Awesome way to stand up for someone else: “Doom turned back to Haven “You couldn’t stand that Arden is kind, sweet, and loyal, everything you pretend to be. Don’t blame her for me being able to see beneath that pretty package you hide behind. I saw the ugliness inside and decided to return it to sender.”” 🚫✉️🚫
vampire soup 🍜🧄🧄🧄🙃 Carters Last Ride was just beautiful 🥺😭💛 OMG… Who’s The DAMN Package For?????????? Soooo, who/how does she get the rest of the votes she needed??😈 Update: Oh, duh, I guess I missed that the first time 😉
I absolutely love her rant to Doom:
Tink needs to become friends with the BikerB¡tch’s!!!!! OH, and Natalia too!! 😈🤘🍸
🤭There appears be a proper multi-series order…oopsie🙃 Oh well, I’m enjoying it💋

This was actually going to be a four star read for me until I got to the second epilogue. JB must have been smoking crack when she wrote it because there's no way a Last Rider would say the shit Doom said to his son. Look of course I know it's BS, but for him thinking he's going to go to biker heaven so he can cheat on his wife was disappointing. He even asked for his son to keep his mother alive for 11 more year's so he could take advantage. Then once she get's to this idiotic place he'll be faithful once again. So thank you JB for completely spoiling the book in the end. I feel like I need to go back and read previous Last Rider's epilogues. Doom is not a LR in the end unfortunately. Anyways, with that BS out of the way. The banter between the characters was good. And honest JB is funny and this book had me laughing quite a few times. And for anyone curious to who the necklace was being given to I'll put my money it's Shade's son. Cold blue eyes were only ever described as Shade's which I'm guessing his son inherited. Also, this book can't be read as a standalone though I saw from a few reviews some did. I'd have been confused if I just started from here. Overall it was good until the epilogue which knocked of three whole stars.
Safety: Completely unsafe for the safety gang. Most of JB's aren't. With the exception of the Porter brother's books and the Coleman's. Those are pretty safe though they do have ow drama.
Jamie Begley can do no wrong in my eyes especially when it comes to The Last Riders and anyone involved with them. However there are some of her books that I don’t like as well as others…this was one of them. As much as I liked this book I didn’t LOVE it like I loved the original books. This kind of felt as if she was trying a bit too hard and some of the lines were a bit cheesy for me. This didn’t have the angst that I was looking for and it has to be said…WIZARD IS NO VIPER!!!
Some of the things I loved was Jesus, Puck and Buck! I loved them when they were in Treepoint and I loved them just as much in this! I loved poor Arden. She made me want to cry at how much she sacrificed for the people she loved. She was a ball buster as well. I loved Mama and the love she had for Arden. I LOVED THE EPILOGUES😭😭😭if I hadn’t been at work I would have been on the floor in the fetal position bawling my eyes out!!!!!! It ranked right up there with Riders epilogue for me. Jamie knows she can write a damn epilogue fo sho! Killed me!!!!
Some of the things I didn’t like were Doom himself. He is probably one of my least favorite characters she has written. I hated that the brothers in this chapter fought like crazy, something Viper would have never put up with. I didn’t like the antagonist in this book because it was just dumb, I think more could have been done with this plot line.
All in all it was a good book and ofc I will read anything this woman writes where this MC is concerned. Now I’m ready for Moon to get his book and then we can finish the COLEMANS!!!!
Oh and who did Doom send the necklace to at the end??? Any thoughts? I have my guess but could be wrong…
Ok 2nd time reading this book and i think its one of my new favs.
Arden is divine, though I do wonder where all her money comes from when you realise how much she was doing for everyone invl paying rent for her neighbours.
But she was ballsy and sweet and kind and not jaded.
Doom was a mix of knox n shade so seriously how could we not love him. The scene when the club hangaround rang the bell n he ate her out on the bar was gross and hot af at the same time.
And that's the thing with the LR often it gives you those contradictory feelings.
I found the ohio club somewhat bizarre tbh. Why is it so much poorer than the treepoint clubhouse, at times it sounded like the clubhouse was falling apart. Also they seemed to not follow the LR rules so much but were the original chapter. So why arent they all rich like the other guys?
And moon was the president? That's the first time we've heard that.
Wizard is such a great character, looking forward to his book hopefully incl natalia.
Yes its angsty and the H have sex with other women, that's the LR. Dont read it if your sensitive about that, stick to mills m boon.
The usual LR flair. Arden is a strait laced sister trying to protect her little brother. She goes to the LR CH to tell the prez that her prospecting brother is a minor. She meets Doom. They tango around a bit then Doom takes her V card. Doom plans on leaving in a few months to work With Train. As usual I did t read the epilogues.
Desired By Doom is the first book in The Last Riders: Ohio Chapter series by Jamie Begley. If you’re new to the wonderful world of Jamie Begley, I highly suggest you start with The Last Riders series before jumping into this spinoff series. Sure, you can read this as a standalone, but you’ll be better invested by reading the main series first, and that’s my official opinion.
Now let’s get to what this book is all about, shall we.
They always say, the silent ones are the most deadly, and that fits Doom’s character to a T! Doom has his life mapped out for him, and nowhere in the key does it state anything about falling in love. Love has a way of interfering when it’s least desired. He has plans to join Train and do some undercover work. But you know fate and her mysterious ways… In enters Arden *aka Tink*.
All Arden wants is her mother and father not to be sick, and her younger brother to have some stability. So when she finds out her brother is hanging with bikers, she damn near loses her mind and decides to interfere. That’s why she’s currently working two jobs and now bartending at The Last Riders clubhouse. This is definitely not how she saw her life going, and falling for the handsomely rugged biker with a chip on his shoulder is not what she imagined for her future.
Both Doom and Arden know the stakes and are following the rules of their agreement, so why is Doom having a hard time with Arden following the rules and not acting like a typical club girl… the more he pushes, the stronger she pulls away. I think Doom has finally met his match in Arden.
My thoughts:
One thing I’ve come to love about Jamie Begley and her novels is the fact that each book has its own different storyline. Typically when an author publishes 30 or more books within a series, whether it be a whole series or a main series with spinoffs, I get to a point where the novels take on a similar approach as the novel before or three novels before…. That’s not the case with this author. Jamie Begley gives each and every character their own piece of the pie. They each have their own tests and their own hurdles they must jump through. I love the fact that I never have a clue what I’m getting myself into once I open the book. I’m a fan now, and I have a feeling I’ll be a fan for life.
Doom and Arden’s story isn’t like the ones that came before. Arden isn’t this drop dead gorgeous beauty that you would typically see coming to the club. She’s what I like to call a natural beauty. She has a great personality and a kind heart. She goes out of her way to help those in need, without having to be asked. But don’t let the soft heart fool you, if she ever finds herself stuck in a corner, she can out-bitch the baddest bitch in any room. One thing I loved about Arden was her ability to see through Doom’s bull. She definitely had a stubborn streak when it came to that man! Some of those moments were hilarious, while other had me wanting to throw a punch into the midst. I really enjoyed reading Arden’s point of view.
Now let’s talk about Doom. Doom is a force to be reckoned with. This man is like the layers of an onion, with every layery you peel away, you’re given a glimpse into something new. The one thing I loved about Doom was the fact that he made no promises to women. He told it like it was. No strings, no attachments, and no broken hearted women. He was upfront with Arden from the beginning, never lied about who he was in a personality form. So when Arden fell for Doom, she feel for the rugged, stubborn, and fiercely outspoken biker. This man will also go out of his way to protect those closest to him. I also loved the alpha persona he tacked on the closer he got to Arden’s heart. Honestly, what’s not to love about this man!
Arden and Doom’s love story felt raw and true, from the beginning to the end. I loved the fact that Arden tried her damndest to lie to Doom, but in the end, he always knew her lies and her truths.
My heart broke for all Arden had gone through within this novel. A normal person would have crumbled under the pressure. But Arden lifted her chin and walked through it all. I loved the fact that Doom was her shoulder towards the end. Especially with her father’s heart condition and her mother’s health. He was there to hold her when times were tough. He was exactly what she needed in the darkest of times. Now on to the reasoning why I only gave this novel four stars in my rating. I loved Arden and Doom, but I wanted more from the ending. I wanted to see them live out their happily ever after all the way through instead of the cliffnotes on what happened after they finally confessed their love for one another. I wanted a detailed biker wedding, I wanted to witness Doom holding his child for the very first time. Call me a selfish reader, but I needed just a little bit more to tide me over.
However, I am curious to see whe Doom delivered the package to at the end of Desired By Doom. Leave it to Jamie Begley to add a little cliffhanger, within a standalone novel!! I’m on the edge of my seat wanting even more now!!
LOVED this! Going in I knew I wouldn't like Doom for a bit just because of the Last Riders lifestyle/votes, but I accepted that. Arden is truly a favorite female character. This woman is beyond beautiful on the inside and shows it over and over in the story. Doom was our typically Alpha/I don't do commitment biker that met his match.
I won't talk about specifics as we all can read the same story and get different feelings but I cried at least three times reading this. JB did a wonderful job on this one and it was so worth the wait. I especially love the epilogues that give us views many many many years into the future...and that ending, I need to know!!!!
This is the first book in a new series and what an amazing and emotional roller coaster journey this story is. This is a well written flawless story which has engaging and realistic characters, witty banter, humour, intrigue, suspense, twists, challenges, loyalty, and love which all leads to an entertaining, unpredictable, and steamy addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
What can I say about this author Jamie Begley and her last riders. They are dirty, unapologetic, manwhores who when they fall in love well the h is freaking lucky. They will stand by your side till the day they die and sometimes even beyond (let’s not forget Ryder’s epilogue) Also the epilogues… oh my god woman how can you make me bawl like that??? Loved it loved it loved it
I loved everything about this book! Doom surpassed my expectations and he and Tink are perfect. Her character was just perfect for a Last Riders lady, she mY be my favorite! I cannot wait for the next!!!
Loved the heroine and the sweet moments towards the end, especially. There are some errors in the writing, but nothing that I couldn’t get past. Looking forward to future books in this series.
Jamie Begley knocked it out of the park once again with Desired Boom!!! I loved every minute of this book. I was either in tears or laughing with all the craziness at the Ohio Chapter. I can’t get enough of The Last Riders.
So i read this all the way through, which honestly is a win for me recently.
It wasn’t a bad read, but it also wasn’t good - I actually don’t mind the biker lifestyle and the more rough guys but I like the fact they become all sweet when they meet the one.
Although Doom didn’t cheat (which I consider the bare minimum) there also wasn’t much in the way of romance. I didn’t really get what they liked about each other.
I wouldn’t read again, but I also wouldn’t say don’t read because it did have some plus points.
Also be prepared to meet the perfect heroine, she can literally do everything! Which did make her seem a little unrealistic, although I’m sure someone out there is that perfect - it just sure isn’t me!
Another great story from Jamie Begley. I’ve missed reading her stories and this new one didn’t disappoint. This time it’s the Ohio chapters turn and Doom is in the spotlight, he’s grumpy and loves the Last Rider lifestyle. Then along comes Arden (Tink) to confuse, annoy and worm her way into his life. She’s a brilliant character, a bit annoying, but she’s so well written. There’s plenty of secondary characters that are interesting and a few visitors from the original series, including Train. No spoilers but I think I will miss the last chapter of her stories in future as they’re often, for me, quite sad…
It's been awhile since I have come across an mclub book that hits the mark. I love to hate and hate to love the angst that comes from the alpha-hole bikers that mess around with club bunnies to show the female main character what biker life is and that he isn't a one woman show.
It was a 4 star book until the very end. It bothered me. First off the epilogue was set when Doom was celebrating his 80-something birthday and then....
*"SPOILER"* Then when he talked with his son about "biker heaven" where they have their Harley and get blow jobs "every 90 seconds". When he told his son that he essentially wouldn't mind having his wife live 10 plus years after he dies so he can get said blow jobs....
This book was well written, flowed nicely and at times, gave you the feels. Unfortunately, I did not hold much affection for Doom. I was less than impressed with him in the first chapters but he totally lost my vote when he had various sexual encounters with multiple women all on the same night he first kissed Arden. To realize that he was a 36 yo man who behaved worse than a teenage frat douche, I would not want his mouth or dick anywhere near me. Realizing Ardens circumstances and their behavior towards her only makes then more unpalatable. The men seem to do nothing but drink and fuck and Doom never contemplated a committed relationship. There is certainly no romance here and it is unbelievable that they would ever live a life of wedded bliss. To enjoy this book you have to be on board with a very open sexual atmosphere- sharing partners, watching, orgies, public displays.
I took another chance on a JB book I stopped reading her books after Gavin because they were so bad. Between the errors and the writing you can't even tell who's actually writing these books any more. This was a poor last riders books. I can't see Viper putting up the way the Ohio chapter take car of the clubhouse. It was mention that they wait till he comes down and fixes things. No connection between Doom and Tink. Glad this was on K U don't waste your money to buy this book. This author needs some serious help in editing.
Wow what an amazing start to the Last Riders Ohio Chapter series. Doom was a real alphahole but redeemed himself in my eyes towards the end. Tink was a sweet caring and surprising lady.
Love there story and all the new characters and some we’ve previously met in the Treepoint series.
I can’t wait for more on Wizard and hopefully it will involve Mama 🤣
What a train wreck! That some nitwit could get into an MC club and makes threats cause the club wants her brother to prospect is beyond a joke. AND the FL is again a superwoman who can hold down 3-4 jobs, exist on 3 hrs of sleep and apparently is so short she only comes up to the ML's waist, add to that she's described more than once as UGLY. The ML on the other hand is described as having "cyan" eyes (hahahaha) and that's it. I coudn't read at about 43% - DNF
Omg I loved the craziness that the Ohio Chapter has going on. I laughed, I cried, and the banter is amazing. Tink and Doom couldn't be more perfect for one another. This book is absolutely amazing and I can't wait to see more of this chapter.
Before I started this one, I vaguely remembered reading something from this author in the past and for some reason not going back for more. Anyway, this book jarred my memory and I remembered the reason I had a negative reaction to this author's work- the club environment and "heroes" are just not my favorite.
While I liked Arden, she was written as an extreme martyr that in the end did not seem realistic. This woman worked four jobs for the benefit of her ailing parents and ungrateful brother, yet got shat on by everyone. Doom was an ass to her for most of the book as well. He's had his sweet moments throughout the book and does a very abrupt 180 on settling down towards the end of the book which is fine, I guess... I'm just not convinced living a life with him would be the that great.
In these books, it so often boils down to the heroine's being down on their luck/having uncontrollable sexual attraction to hero. It gets really tiresome reading this dynamic over and over. At least in this installment, Arden does seem to have a backbone most of the time. But honestly, Doom is kind of gross and so are his club brothers.
Oh, and speaking of gross, that second epilogue, when Doom is talking to his SON about biker heaven? Are you kidding me? Doom is 84, talking about not getting a lot of blowjobs anymore from Arden (his son's MOTHER!) and how in biker heaven he'll be getting blow jobs from other women every 90 minutes until Arden passes away and they'll be together. Ummm...what?
Typos, facts that don't add up, random plot twists, everything but the kitchen sink throw into the plot makes it hard to give this more than 3 stars even though it was an addictive read.

Doom & Arden: TRIGGERS: bullying, assault, sexual assault, strong sexual content with multiple partners. So I did not know that this series is a spin off of the original Last Riders series that I started but never finished a while back. But it was cool to see them connected and to know who the older characters were. I might go back and finish the series but honestly, JB makes her books obscenely long and that's a lot for just orgies and nothing else. 🤦🏾♀️. This story didn't quite match the synopsis. When you read, you'll understand. Luc is a really smart teenager going to a private school paid for in scholarship because his dad works for the school which he gets bullied for. After seeing him get assaulted by several boys, members of the LRMC step in. When luc comes home wanting to leave school and join the MC, his sister, Arden and his very ill parents are not having that. His sister, who's working several jobs to pay for the school tuition and medical bills, makes a proposition: she will become a member of the MC and they will protect her brother and teach him how to protect himself. Enter Doom, the one person standing in her way. He tries at every turn to get Arden to quit prospecting, what he doesn't realize is that he wants her for himself. It's a battle of wills throughout the book between Arden and Doom and we don't really see much of the little brother again after the deal is made. The book is not lacking in extremely hot sex scenes and there's no real monogamy among the members until the end. That's just the JB way. Just raunchy sex and no f's given.
I will admit I put this off for a bit because I didn't know what to expect. At first, I thought "Oh boy, I'm going to have to get used to a whole other group of people." Sometimes before I read a new author, I will look over high and low rating reviews and make my decision if I should even bother with it. Because my TBR list is INSANELY huge. But then after reading this and saw some low rating reviews it makes me think are we reading the same book? This book was great! So, it reminded me that people just have different tastes and expectations in what they are reading. And I know in some reviews I skimmed over people weren't too happy that the Ohio chapter wasn't exactly like the Treepoint chapter. But in my opinion I kind of liked it that they were different and had the same rules but were more willing to evolve. I don't know if that makes any sense. Anyway, I really enjoyed this book. I do with almost all of JB's books. But this one was so delightful and when I say that I mean DELIGHTFUL! I had to pause from reading from time to time just from the giggling I was doing. This surprised me as much as Greer's book did. And I just love when a book would do that. I started this book while flying home from vacation and I read it until 3am 2 different nights because I couldn't stop reading it. (well after unpacking and laundry lol) And I still didn't want it to end. JB you did a fantastic job on this one. I am really looking forward to reading more about the Ohio LR chapter. I love the little easter eggs that are planted and revisiting the Treepoint gang. (Can never get enough of Shade)
I knew going into this book the type of book this author writes. The thing that frustrates me the most, but does make these books so hard to put down. The fact that Doom is trying so hard to deny how he feels about Arden by being intimate with so many women in one night. After going down on one then he follows Arden out of the bar and kisses her. Regardless if he brushed his teeth or not I was disappointed that she allowed it and didn't try to kill him. I loved so much about Arden. She didn't have any issue about stating anything. The way she stepped in an done things around the bar that no one else tried to fix. She jumped right in and tried to be a part of the club. She earned her place there for all of the things she did for the club. The relationship between Doom and Wizard at times was LOL funny. I wanted more moments like that. It added so much to this book. It was awesome to see so many of the original Last Riders in this book. Of course the epilogues are a bit tear jerky, as always. Of course we are left hanging on wondering who Doom sent the necklace to in Treeport. The next book in this series can't come soon enough. Will it be Wizard and Mama or the Burns story which could be interesting.
