Willow is kind of a doormat when it comes to these guys. Time and time again they hurt her, don’t trust her, and don’t even respect her enough to listen to her. And she forgives them every single time within what feels like minutes. In the last blow up they don’t even say sorry, the just have sex and all forgiven.

This wasn’t for me. The characters aren’t all that complex and the romance was shallow. Also it was easy to guess the stalker. The guy was super creepy after all.

But if you’re looking for a quick and easy read this might be for you.

N.A. Jameson reeled me in with her paranormal, reverse harem romance series' The Prophecy'. While she sticks with the reverse harem theme for Small Town Strings, it is a whole lot different and I enjoyed it just as much as 'The Prophecy' series.

This is a rockstar romance with the FMC, Willow having made it to the top of the country music scene after leaving her small-town life behind. She also left behind the boys she loves who broke her heart. Being famous isn't everything it's cracked up to be and she runs away from her tour (and a stalker) while trying to figure out what will make her happy.

The three leading men are her older brother's best friends and in usual alpha leading men form they think they know what is best for her and push her away. Not once, but twice!

Fisk would be the leader of the three and he's all grumpy bad boy.
Milo is the sweeter, softer of the three and the first to cross the line with Willow.
Carter is the more light-hearted joker of the group.

While they might be possessive tough alpha males there is one thing that can break them and that is Willow.

Willow might have let them hurt her but when she comes back to stay she won't stand for any more of their games and it seems the guys have decided they aren't letting her go a third time either.

Overall great RH rockstar romance with a good dose of suspense and mystery. I went back and forth a few times on who the stalker was. It was well written in not making it obvious who the bad guy is.

I look forward to more great reads to come.

Willow has been in love with her brother's best friends for years but it's clear they aren't interested. On the night her date ditches her on the side of the road and she calls Milo for a ride. She's truly tired of being ignored and decides it's time to take her shot. Instead of getting her dream Milo, Carter, and Fisk shatter her heart.

Five years later Willow has run off from her current tour and is heading home. She's not happy with her life, she misses her brother, best friend, and even the boys she said she'd never think of again. On top of that, a stalker is bothering her and his threats seem to be getting worse.

No matter what she thought would happen when she saw them again she didn't expect to be left heartbroken all over again. This time though she has a plan. She will do what she has to do and then she's going to finally make herself happy.

Another five years later and Willow is free from her music contact, her dream home is built and she's ready to live her life her way and be happy. Coming home is just the start and if she never sees Fisk, Carter, and Milo again that will be just fine.

When the guys learn Willow is back in town it's time for them to finally claim Willow as theirs. They have no idea just how badly they have messed up and they'll have to win Willow back and prove that what they said in the past didn't mean anything.
"We'll go as fast or as slow as you want to, Willow, but make no mistake, we're keeping you this time."

It's not until they learn all that Willow has been hiding that they realize how close they could have come to losing her and when the threat closes in around her they plan to be by her side to keep her safe. But not trusting in what they have could cause them to lose it all.

"I won't be taking no for an answer, Willow Page Baxter. I'll fight everyone to be by your side, even you."

Happy Reading.

Small Town Strings is another hit for N.A. Jameson.

💜 country singer
💜 childhood crushes
💜 mystery
💜 protective family and found family
💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶 spicy spice

Willow has crushed on them far longer than she should have. She knows this and has tried to remind herself of it. But some lessons are hard to learn, besides you can’t have a relationship with three guys. Right? And with a push and shove, she decides it’s past time to start her career in music and goes on to Nashville leaving her small hometown behind. Will she make it as a singer? Will she be able to move on? Will Nashville become her new forever home?

This was a fun story. I enjoyed how much Willow worked to be able to make her own decisions and had passions that aren’t your typical main female character in a romance. I loved how the storyline came together in the end.

Loved it!!
If your looking for an overall sweet romance with a stalker on the side this book will be perfect!
The story follows Willow and 3 men she left behind. Of course there is so much more to the story. We get second chance romance and my personal favorite, brother's best friends.
We also get humor, spice and a bit of a mystery with who Willow's stalker is.
I loved Willow. Even though she was famous, she was still down to earth and cared for her friends and family very much.
Fisk, Milo, Carter were her men. The steam between them was so hot!! 🥵 I thought the relationships between Willow and her men seemed so natural. I love that the author gave us a few chapters in the guys POV as well.
What a great ending! I'm so glad they got their HEA!!!

Willow page is a country superstar, she left 10 years ago because the men she was falling for ran her off. They claimed they felt nothing for her, but brotherly affection. Willow wasn't happy in the business and decided to call it quits and returns to her small town, much to her mother's disappointment. Of course she runs into the men that broke her heart all those years ago and turns out those feelings are still there. She also happens to have someone following her and sending packages and pictures to her of her private life. Can her and her brothers best friends figure out this relationship? Can they save her and themselves from the s t a l k e r? Read it now and find out!

A sweet and spicy small town romance

5⭐️ 4🌶️

Small town Strings grabbed my attention from the prologue. It is sweet, spicy, and has just the right amount of mystery as you try to figure out who is stalking Willow.

I enjoyed the dynamic of the guys and how Willow fits with them. Wes is the best brother and I love how accepting he is of his 3 best friends being with his little sister.

N.A. Jameson has an amazing style of writing and is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Coming from reading The Dark Prophecy series, I was excited to read a non PNR book by her and I absolutely devoured it!

If you are looking for a sweet why choose romance with the perfect amount of mystery and angst, look no further then Small Town Strings.

Small Town Strings

I think this was my first time reading a book where the music star was a female. And let me tell you it was such a good story. I have been reading this author since her first debut book and each book I've read has been great imo. But I think this is my favorite one of hers yet.

From the Limelight to Small Towm

I loved all the twists in this book. I was not prepared for who the stalker turned out to be. There were clues, but it could have gone either way.
I loved the relationship between Willow and the boys. They were definitely meant to be. It's just a shame they wasted so many years. I enjoyed how they each had their own interests with Willow. So they can always have their special time. Fisk is football, Carter's was music, and Milos was vintage cars.
I also liked that Willow wasn't spoiled by her fame. She was still down to earth and liked to do things for herself and others. She enjoyed working on cars and wasn't ashamed of it either. She loved her friends and family so much that she wanted to protect them from what she was going through with the stalker so she kept it to herself.
The author did a wonderful job of balancing someone creating a new life while still having to deal with the backlash of being a person who lived in front of the spotlight for so long and had a stalker too. I really enjoyed this book.

This is a new take on a mix between small town romance, RH, and a musician. This contained a plot twist that I didn’t see coming. I absolutely enjoyed the journey this story took me on.

Small Town Strings is a small town, why choose romance.
Willow is a country superstar, having fled from her small hometown with a broken heart. She’s strong and caring, dealing with issues her family and loved ones didn’t know about. Her search of happiness brings her back home tears later. Back to the lives of her life Milo, Fisk and Carter.
The men are very different from each other but make the best team to love and honour Willow. They foolishly pushed her away when they were younger but are determined to love her no matter what comes their way. There are obstacles and a stalker in their way. But love will trump all else.
This is a sweet and spicy romance! Emotions run high in this story and miscommunications and wanting the best for each other means mistakes are made. There’s action and a stalker to catch, making this story an interesting read. But the characters are what pulled me in and kept me reading on. Willow, Milo, Fisk and Carter are so likeable and relatable. The secondary characters are fun and you can feel the love throughout all the characters in the story. And though I had a feeling about the stalker from the get-go, the ending was still exciting. And their HEA was hard fought by all of them, making it even better!
Small Town Strings is a great read for those who like small town romance with a spicy why choose twist!

Do you know the feeling when you find an author that you know, no matter what he/she/they write, you know you're going to love it. Well that is how I feel about N.A. Jameson.

Willow is a small town girl that is in love with her brother's three friends, but they don't want her, so off she goes to Nashville to make all her 'dreams' come true. Our trio of studs, think they are doing the right thing sending her off, but are they?

In the process of going back and forth, we still their story develop and grow. Willow, a country music star, that only wants love from the trio she has loved since she was a kid. Frisk, Milo, and Carter, the trio that thinks they do the right thing, by lying. Yeah that works GREAT....

A stalker, love that needs to be realized, feelings, the best best friend ever, a brother we all wish we had, and a mother we don't at times. STS will make you smile, cry, cheer, and say YAS!!!!

Willow has been in love with Fisk, Carter and Milo who is her brother best friends. They all grew up together but when she reveal her feelings they turn her away, because they want her to be the amazing singer she couldn’t be in their hometown. She comes home after 5 years away and they are still a-holes but they don’t know she is in danger from a stalker. After leaving again she returns in 5 years, she is now retired and ready to move on with her life. The guys are there wanting to move on with her but first they admit their past mistakes and their feelings for her. She also must give past this before they can move on. They will have some bumps in the road and a stalker they must deal with. But the many questions is can the guys save Willow from her stalker before too much damage is done? And do they find their HEA in the end? You will definitely want to read and find out.

Fun read with a little bit of mystery

I am not a big fan of contemporary romance but I did find myself enjoying this book. The heartache experienced by Willow made for a more dramatic romance read rather than a lighthearted romance. The added mystery of her stalker made things even more dramatic.

I loved Carter and Milo but Fisk made me mad a lot. He’s the typical arrogant yet brooding type of male lead. A lot of the drama and heartache originated with Fisk and his ill-conceived notion of doing what’s best for Willow. I think the men should have been forced to do more groveling to get back in Willow’s good graces but I can understand why she didn’t. She isn’t a vindictive female lead and she has been in love with her 3 men since her teenage years. I can’t fault her for not giving them a taste of their own medicine to the extreme that they probably deserved.

Overall I loved the story. It was a nice change of pace for me that I enjoyed.

I really did enjoy reading this book. While I feel for the FMC I also kept wondering why she keeps doing what she does and being so forgiving, understanding, and all. A truly unique FMC and her story is also. I'm left wondering what the rest of her story might be.

Omg I absolutely loved this book! I legit finished it in 1 day and stayed up waaaaaayyy later than absolutely necessary making me hate life all day at work. The story follows Willow who is from a small town and is in love with her brothers 3 best friends. Like idiots that boys are they pushed her away forcing her to leave thinking they were doing the right thing. Giving her the fire to be a country superstar she ends up with a stalker who somehow stays 2 steps ahead of her security. Btw it totally was not who I thought it was haha. It literally kept me on the edge hence why I stayed on the struggle bus today because I couldn’t put this down at all. Her men definitely bring the spice yet also make you want to smack them for being dummies. This book is totally worth the read and highly recommend.

Another winner from N.A. Jameson. Small Town Strings has everything you want from a why choose suspense romance.
Willow Page Baxter worked hard for 10 years to get what she wanted, fame, fortune, a star in her own right. But she also got a few things she didn't want, like a stalker and a mother who lived vicariously through her famous daughter.
Now she is retiring and moving back home to see if she can get together with the three men who had pushed her away to get the fame she deserved.
Fisk, Carter and Milo are Willow's brother's best friends who have been in love with Willow forever, but refused to act on their feelings because they felt they would hold her back.
Now that Willow is back, the men stake their claim, but will Willow's stalker and some mistrust tear them apart before they can reach their forever?

Coming Home To Her Small Town Strings

This book is all about second chances, not letting life pass you by, and most definitely about forgiveness. In the story, Willow, a big time music artist, returns home 10 years after the 3 men she loved rejected her declaration of romantic feelings for them. I’ve seen some reviews talk about Willow being a pushover & too quick to forgive Fisk, Milo & Carter once she came home to stay. I don’t agree. I think she stayed true to who she is as a person, including staying a strong woman who knew what she wanted. She had loved them for as long as they had loved her, and once she knew their reasons & that they felt the same way, she wasn’t going to waste more time on overthinking, or making them grovel so much that it took even more time away from their new start. Let’s face it, they were all young when the guys rejected her, but as misguided as it might’ve been, they truly thought they were doing what was best for her. Quite frankly, as hard as their journey was for all of them, I do think it helped them ALL grow up some. Granted, Fisk still made some boneheaded moves 🙄, but it came from his fear of losing her I think. This was so much more than just a second chance love story though, it also definitely brought some mystery & danger to the mix by throwing a long time stalker of Willows into the mix. I gotta say, I love it when I can’t tell who the villain is. I definitely had suspicions, but it was so well done, that I was constantly doubting myself & going back & forth in my mind on who it could be lol. If you want a sweet RH that’s as realistic as you can reasonably ask for, and you want plenty of spice, passion, humor, mystery, danger, & excitement….then you want this book! I knew I was gonna like it, but I wasn’t prepared for how much I was gonna love it ❤️

This was a great book to read. I loved the music superstar going back to her country roots storyline. When Willow is growing up she idolises and falls in love with her brothers 3 best friends, Fisk, Carter and Milo. They however have her best interest in mind, so they say, when they reject her and send her to Nashville. This gives her the chance that she needs and she becomes a country superstar with all the fame and fortune that goes with it. When she decides she has had enough of being forced to do what is required by her management as well as to avoid her stalker, she goes back to her home town. As she reconnects with her past guys, her best friend Carly but somehow her stalker still finds her. I loved the connections in this story and the mystery backstory. I loved how Willow's connection to the guys was so complete, despite their hiccups, and I loved how she stood her ground and did things her way and what she wanted with her life now that she was out from under the thumb of her management. A fabulous read, love this author!

Growing up in a small town in the South this story resonated so well with me. I believe Jameson captured the true essence of community and small-town life. The addition of the inner workings of the Country Music scene right down to the behind-the-scenes of the CMAs and how much of a way of life it is here was spot on.

Although frustrating at times Milo, Fisk, and Carter truly care for Willow and would move heaven and earth for her. I also love how she handled business, her career, and securing her future while still making sure those closest to her were always taken care of. The action scenes were amazing and kept me on the edge of my seat. I was blown away by the stalker reveal! After reading The Prophecy Series of books by N.A. Jameson, I wasn’t sure if this would capture me the same way but it most definitely exceeded my expectations.

Sweet Small Town Romance

Small Town Strings was a short, sweet and steamy romance. Willow has been in love with her brother’s three best friends since she was a kid. When they broke her heart, she ran off and got famous on the Nashville stage. Years later, Willow comes home to find that her feelings for Fisk, Carter and Milo haven’t changed. Facing career and life altering choices, Willow has to choose whether she’s going to give them a second chance. Throw in a scary stalker and you’ve got romance and suspense. I would have loved a little more relationship development between Willow and the guys. There were certain parts that moved rather quickly. And I would have loved more grovel from the guys. Otherwise, I enjoyed the story.

Poor Willow admitting her feelings towards her brother’s 3 best friends. They want her to live her dreams though of becoming a singer, so they end up rejecting her. When she comes back years later, they refuse to let her go this time. This is almost a light hearted contemporary romance with a hint of mystery and darkness due to Willow having a stalker. This book is chalk full of emotion, love, and some suspense. This story flows flawlessly, with plenty of steam and twists that kept me so engrossed in the plot and all the amazing characters. Can’t wait for more contemporary romance reads from this author! 💜

I have read N A Jameson’s recent books and this have been paranormal themed and I loved them the way this author can connect you to the story is and pull you in is fantastic. I only recently realised that I hadn’t read this book and thought ok let’s give it a ho.

How had I missed this book before it is a hook that pulls on your emotions and drags you in into the inner depths of Willows feelings. This girl was hurt time and time again by her teenage crushes but when she needs to she returns home to her hometown and the boys that crushed her.

Can these four get over past issues and get past the stalker that terrorising Willow.

This book is honestly binge worthy and highly recommended.

She is not a rockstar but a country music star.
I liked the story of a musician who went out of town to become a musician returned to her home where she left the guys behind after five years, only to find out that they again send her away. Another five years later she returns for good to retire in the small town she grew up in and where her family lives.
She meets her brother's best friends and her childhood loves and finally they get together. There is a lot of smut in there. People like the mum has to change and accept the grown up Willow. There is a stalker following her around.
I had to read it to the finale, because I wanted to know if my guess was right.
