Coming Home To Her Small Town Strings
This book is all about second chances, not letting life pass you by, and most definitely about forgiveness. In the story, Willow, a big time music artist, returns home 10 years after the 3 men she loved rejected her declaration of romantic feelings for them. I’ve seen some reviews talk about Willow being a pushover & too quick to forgive Fisk, Milo & Carter once she came home to stay. I don’t agree. I think she stayed true to who she is as a person, including staying a strong woman who knew what she wanted. She had loved them for as long as they had loved her, and once she knew their reasons & that they felt the same way, she wasn’t going to waste more time on overthinking, or making them grovel so much that it took even more time away from their new start. Let’s face it, they were all young when the guys rejected her, but as misguided as it might’ve been, they truly thought they were doing what was best for her. Quite frankly, as hard as their journey was for all of them, I do think it helped them ALL grow up some. Granted, Fisk still made some boneheaded moves 🙄, but it came from his fear of losing her I think. This was so much more than just a second chance love story though, it also definitely brought some mystery & danger to the mix by throwing a long time stalker of Willows into the mix. I gotta say, I love it when I can’t tell who the villain is. I definitely had suspicions, but it was so well done, that I was constantly doubting myself & going back & forth in my mind on who it could be lol. If you want a sweet RH that’s as realistic as you can reasonably ask for, and you want plenty of spice, passion, humor, mystery, danger, & excitement….then you want this book! I knew I was gonna like it, but I wasn’t prepared for how much I was gonna love it ❤️
