Yuuya Tenjou has obtained all kinds of powerful skills and abilities and continues to live his new lifestyle in both the other world and his home world. In the Weald, he comes across a "divine beast" rabbit! "I'll train you. In exchange, teach me how to use [magic]." He becomes the pupil of the unrivaled rabbit, and at the same time becomes a teacher to a divine beast. Back in his world, the Ousei Academy Sports Day begins but paparazzi aiming to get full coverage of Yuuya show up! Yuuya carelessly ends things with a single hit, sending the school into an uproar.
Yuuya meets the Rabbit. He doesn't have an official name as far as I can tell, but he is the Deity of Kicks. So the Rabbit makes Yuuya his disciple, and in exchange, Yuuya will teach the Rabbit magic.
Good stuff otherwise. Yuuya meets Princess Lexia at the Royal Palace, and makes a series of mistakes in etiquette. It's due to Yuuya being from another world, you see. A group of assassins targets the King and Lexia, but Yuuya takes care of them.
Well, it's rather boring now. The story was going no where, except for the main character Transcending and the main plot actually in the epilog. I don't know what genre this light novel intended to be, but the plot was so slow in these 3 volumes.
The story flows nicely and the author does a good job building the world in this story. Finally the main character reaches the kingdom in the fantasy world, nothing original takes places but the story ends in a good cliffhanger. The only but, I found is the scenes in the real world border in ridiculous. I think the author goes overboard with the scenes where the mc shows his strength. But overall a good read, fun and with a cast of cool characters.
This series pulls you in and doesn't let go. I find myself reading faster and more often because I just want more of this series! 10/10 highly recommend!!
To be honest, there wasn't much of a plot in this volume. Yuuya is learning more about the other world while being hunted by members of the royal family. In the real world, he's buffing up for the sports festival at school while being hounded by paparazzi and entertainment agents.
What really irks me about this volume is that there could be more of a plot written in, if the author wasn't hell-bent on making every girl he rescues fall in love with him. Some of them are chasing the male lead super hard and it's kind of embarrassing for the female population. I'm not anti-harem but when a reader loses sight of the story because of too much harem fan service, it fails as a story.
There’s a lot more fanservice in this one. It’s still a generic power fantasy. There’s an aimless rabbit subplot about holiness and evil, I guess? By the third volume I’m getting really tired of the basic “beat really strong monsters, wow everyone, level up, become even more over powered (aka remove all the stakes from fights), go to school, wow everyone some more, charm women”. It’s just boring.
just like any other Isekai get strong light novel it is light hearted fun. Is it a masterpiece? no but it is fun to read, and I am looking forward to yuuya's journey through the world.
