I adapated the three patch and star quilt to make three lap quilts for family members and as ever Edwards' instructions are clear, easy to follow, friendly and illustrated with good range of photographs and diagrams. There is a great range of quilts to choose from and a good basics section to get beginners started
If your stash includes medium to large pieces of fabric (as well as scraps) Lynne provides many great ideas. I had mixed feelings with this book. I didn't like how it didn't give specific measurements, yardage, etc. However I did like the color combinations, styles. The directions were atypical from most that are written.
Oops! I thought this was a book for knitter's stash projects, but it is for fabrics. I browsed nonetheless and found all of the works suggested to be quite beautiful, imaginative, yet manageable. Strongly recommend!
