FIXED ON YOU (Book 1) Stalking and restraining orders are a thing of Alayna Wither's past. With her MBA newly in hand, she has her future figured out--move up at the nightclub she works at and stay away from any guy who might trigger her obsessive love disorder. A perfect plan. But what Alayna didn't figure on is Hudson Pierce, the new owner of the nightclub. He's smart, rich, and gorgeous--the kind of guy Alayna knows to stay away from if she wants to keep her past tendencies in check. Except, Hudson's fixed his sights on her. He wants her in his bed and makes no secret of it. Avoiding him isn't an option after he offers a business proposition she can't turn down and she's drawn further into his universe, unable to resist his gravitational pull. When she learns Hudson has a dark history of his own, she realizes too late that she's fallen for the worst man she could possibly get involved with. Or maybe their less than ideal pasts give them an opportunity to heal each other and finally find the love their lives have been missing.
FOUND IN YOU (Book 2) Alayna Withers has only had one kind of relationship: the kind that makes her obsessive and stalker-crazy. Now that Hudson Pierce has let her into his heart, she's determined to break down the remaining walls between them so they can build a foundation that's based on more than just amazing sex. Except Hudson's not the only one with secrets. With their pasts pulling them into a web of unfounded mistrust, Alayna turns to the one person who knows Hudson the best--Celia, the woman he almost married. Hoping for insight from someone who understands all sides of the story, Alayna forms a bond with Celia that goes too far--revealing things about Hudson that could end their love for good. This is the first relationship where Alayna hasn't spiraled out of control. And she might lose Hudson anyway...
FOREVER WITH YOU (Book 3) Alayna Withers relationship with Hudson Pierce has tested both her and his ability to trust. They decide that the only way they can move forward together is with open doors and transparency. It won't be easy for the scarred lovers, but they're committed to each other more now than ever. Alayna, in particular, has grown through their trials, and has emerged more confident and faithful to the man she loves. But while the pair is focused on the future, their past shows up again to threaten their fragile bond. Promises that were made are broken, and Alayna learns that Hudson still has very potent secrets--secrets that will tear them both apart. As much as she feels for him, her ability to forgive and forget is tested beyond her limits. Even though she found the only man who could fix her, a forever with Hudson seems more and more out of reach.

★★★★★! Fixed Trilogy, book 1-3 of 4. Epic whirlwind saga as the Hudson Alexander Pierce sweeps biz grad of her feet into a world of excess, lies, deceit & betrayals!
Books in Fixed series should be read in order: Book 1-3: Fixed Trilogy
Alayna Wither, Laynie has come a long way from stalking men in the wake of losing her parents in a tragic accident. But it’s a daily struggle. Imagine her dilemma when larger-than-life, heir and business icon Hudson Alexander Pierce flirts with her at the bar while she works.
Then he tempts her with an indecent business proposition that gives her full access to the man, his time, his attention, his body… Much of the story follows their arrangement from fuck-buddies and beyond.
Both are flawed and in many ways broken, more to unfold with story. As they get fixated on each other the world around them plots to keep them apart; Secrets, lies, deceit and betrayal yet their biggest obstacles will always come from within…
Hudson Alexander Pierce had me at hello. Seven words to describe Hudson: secretive, conflicted, complex, broke, flawed, possessive, commanding, private and larger-than-life.
Though Hudson swept me off my feet, Alayna Wither, Laynie, in many ways with her flawed, broken, humble, endearing and candid ways carried the story.
Fixed Trilogy, told from Alayna’s POV, is journey of self-reflection and growth for both Hudson and Alayna. I loved how they both remained true to their faults. The integral plot with many twists and turns kept me on my toes until the very end. Epilogue sorted out the last pieces. Up next, book 4, Hudson their story from Hudson’s POV.
These books are Amazing, I couldn't put them down! I read them before work, on my lunch break, and after work, I was FIXED on these books!
I loved Alayna's character, how she was struggling to deal with her addiction, how even though it was a daily battle she was a better person. She is a college graduate with a MBA in business and she is also a Bartender at The Sky Launch one of the hottest night clubs in town. Alayna has managed to alienate all but a few people from her life due to her addiction and the one family member that she has left (her brother Brian) is threatening to remove himself from her life as well. One night, while working at the bar, the most handsome man that she has ever seen comes in for a drink. He is the type of man that could trigger all of Alayna's insecurities and cause her addiction to spiral out of control, so she does everything that she can to stay away from him. Just when she thinks that she is in the clear, she finds out that he is the new owner of the club that he works at and her new boss, Hudson Pierce!
Hudson Pierce is a Gorgeous and wealthy man who has just bought The Sky Launch Club. Hudson is a man that is use to getting whatever he wants, and right now, what he wants is Alayna Withers. He has his sights set on her and plans to seduce her knowing that she wont be able to resist him. Hudson makes her a proposition that she can't refuse but before the sham begins, he lets her know that he isn't looking for a relationship and that he doesn't fall in love...ever!
This Book Is Awesome, its well written and the storyline is easy to follow! I recommend this book to everyone!.
I don't know where to begin with the issues I had with this book. I kept asking myself if I was reading the same book everyone else had. The style of writing wasn't really for me I guess, definitely felt like a debut. I was not able to really connect with the characters. I just finished reading it, and I can't even remember their names. Which is strange considering it has what felt like a million pages. I've never been one to complain about too much sex in a book, but there was so much sex thrown in that I wondered when they would actually have conversations that would lead up to the eventual relationship. I understand the issues that both characters brought to the table. I face palmed so many times and had to put the book down. Who in the world would encourage someone to be a jealous crazy person? The female lead is ALWAYS going nuts thinking he is cheating on her. She even "accidentally" goes through his phone. When she approaches him about something she finds and gets in a craze, what does he do? He chuckles and ENCOURAGES the behavior. Tells her that her jealous rages show him that she cares for him and to keep up the crazy behavior. I will admit I have read worse. I stuck this book out, taking several weeks to finally finish it. There are so many pages in this trilogy. SO. MANY. PAGES.
First of all let me express the deal on this trilogy right now, its $1 yes 1 dollar you can not even buy a soda for that price and yet I got 3 full length books, as Alayna would say Amazeballs!
Now I read the reviews for these titles before buying - Another 50 Shades / Crossfire type series was what many had said. As I liked both of these series I thought why not.
Once I got started the journey of Hudson and Alayna I realized it really isn't another retelling of the same poor girl/billionaire male story.. This trilogy has its own merit and unique storyline.
Alayna has an obsessive personality she knows this, and has been to therapy after some very unfortunate episodes. She gets obsessed with the idea of love and being loved. Her parents died while she was a child and it became a fixation to find the love she should of had.
But she's getting better.. She loves her job at the night club she works, and although very intelligent (business degree in hand) she doesn't want to give up the club that has kept her occupied and out of trouble, its her safe Haven.
Hudson is from a wealthy but very dysfunctional family, he is a billionaire in the business world but by his own admission unable to love, feel and is very manipulative he enjoys using his power to see how it affects people. It's no wonder he is the way he is when you get to understand the dynamic of the family. His mother has no maternal instincts and very much a drunk who uses her kids in a battle against the man she married.
Hudson buys the club in order to get to know Alayna and makes her a proposition to be his pretend girlfriend in order to stop his mothers meddling, but when the lines get blurred its hard to figure out what's real and what's fake.
When a women who loves to much comes together with a manipulative billionaire who is used to getting his way... its a very dangerous game they play and hard to know who to trust.
Even though this is a couple with a million faults and reasons that they shouldn't be together you can't help but want them to work out.
Wow - I read all three books in a day and a half they where just that engaging. The characters are so complex once you think you have it figured out the author throws you for a loop again. She went places with these characters I seriously would never of guessed the out come! I became so invested in this trilogy it really has it all!!!
Hot sex, romance, secrets, manipulation, crazy ex's and lies that will keep you guessing until the very end its jaw dropping. Best way to spend $1 total win.
I love this series. Alpha male and all ;) It's exactly what I've been looking for: hot, angsty, messed up and complete. I wouldn't change a thing if you ask me, especially with the proper dose of hate, love, heartbreak and happy ending. I totally recommend The Fixed Trilogy to all fans of Crossfire, This Man or Up In The Air series.
So recently I did a review for Dirty Filthy Rich Boys and I said I was a huge fan of The Fixed Trilogy but I came to realize I never got to leave a review for the series!! So, I cracked open my book for the first time in 3 years to refresh myself and omg guys... I'm falling in love all freakin over again. Like once I started reading Chapter 1 for a bit it was a little hard for me to put it down! An hour late and I'm on Chapter 10..... lol WHOOPS! Almost forgot what brought me to read it again! So back to the review (LOL)
Hudson is literally EVERYTHING. He's intense. He's sexy. And most of all he's just the epitome of imperfect perfection. His chemistry with Laynie (Alayna) is seriously STEAMY AS ALL HELL. Like those 9 chapters that I delved into had me in a blushing fit the entire time. Whoo, I forgot how hot this series was! Oh lord I need to recuperate myself right now LOL
Anyways, this series has all of me. My heart. My soul. My body. Just literally everything. It will always adorn my 'oldies, but goodies' bookshelf! And after trying to write this review I realized that I'm actually in desperate need for another fixing of Hudson and Alayna REALLY soon. If you're a fan of Christian Grey, Gideon Cross, Jesse Ward then Hudson Pierce is DEFINITELY the man for you! Happy reading!~
This was just okay. I felt like it dragged out too long and was just trying to get it finished by the end of the second book.
The hero is your strong, wealthy Alpha. The heroine is a sweet, intelligent, hard working girl.
The hero starts after the heroine as part of his game, but quickly changes his mind the more times he spends with her/thinking about her.
Blah blah, people don't want them together...hot sex scenes ensues, blah blah....fighting...break up...back together...break up...back together...poor me....love me....don't love me.....I love you...I don't love you....good enough for me....not good enough for me....good enough for you....not good enough for you....
The End.
So basically, it's everything you'd expect from a story like the blurb describes. It is a good read...the hero is totally Alpha, I just think these two were so screwed up, they kept on screwing up with each other. It just made it a headache after a while. I even started skimming over all the sex just so I could get to what the hell was going on.
I totally fell in love with Hudson Pierce!!! This was a really good series, I couldn't put them down. Strong alpha male with past issues, that made you fall in love with him!!! Strong heroine in this series that was moving on from her addictive past, had you rooting for her and Hudson. First books I've read by this author, will not be the last, very well written story!!
This whole series got a motherfucking re-read over the weekend.
My book slump has been on point for the past couple of months and I needed something hot, something crazy and a tad bit of fucked up.
This series has it all!!
Have you guys ever read a series and loved it, then went to re-read it and love the fucking fuck out of it?!?!.
I love the mindblown experience I got when reading this. From reading over book one and understanding something that seemed flippant at first but now makes so much fucking sense since I've read the 2nd or 3rd book and be like "Oh, so ...THAT'S why...!!!"
Hudson...Oh my word - That man is a fucking beast I wouldn't mind ravishing me! And Laynie in all her fucked-up ways were so likable (but her naivety in book one wanted me to slap her senseless) because she had a goddamn education and was not just beautiful and wasn't said to be smart... it was expressed!
You know what, I'm rambling.
And you're reading this shit... Why, I don't fucking know.
What I do know is that you need to read this damn series!!
Holy mindf*ck! That's what I thought after reading this series.
First, the criticism: this series does tend to echo other famous erotic romance series, notably Fifty Shades and Crossfire. Then again, won't most ER novels that deal with emotionally scarred billionaires?
Second, for the praise: I enjoyed Ms. Paige's writing. The characters were fully developed and felt like real people to me. None of them were perfect, most were scarred or flawed in some way. Dysfunction ran rife throughout both Alayna's and Hudson's families and their relationships.
Third, I liked that Alayna had worked through her therapy and felt that she was successfully living in recovery. She knew her triggers and avoids them whenever possible. She also did go back to meetings or reach out when she felt that she was going to slip back into her self-destructive behaviors. She was strong and didn't want to break or be broken and fought for her recovery. I admired that in her. I also enjoyed that she helped Hudson, and vice versa, with healing and not falling into old patterns.
One thing I would have liked to have learned was whether there was some mystery with Chandler and if so, what was it. I felt like that was a loose end. ETA: upon a second read, it is lightly touched on, but still felt like doubts were left.
After finishing the series (and I couldn't put it down and read it at work, while riding in the car, and at home) I felt like I'd need to reread it again, just to see if I would catch any clues. One bombshell was one I had figured out but the other was something I hadn't or didn't want to consider.
If you're a fan of the ER genre, you won't be disappointed.
This trilogy was such a pleasant surprise. Hudson was such a damaged HOT man and of course he was a perfect match for the recovering Alayna. It was quite an enjoyable ride. I would definitely recommend this book to readers that enjoyed the relationship dynamic in 50 shades....I devoured the entire series in just two days! 4.5 rating.
WOW, JUST WOW!!!! This is a must read!!!! You are sucked in from the start & never let go. You think you figure things out, but many twists and turns. But the ride you go on is SO WORTH IT!!!
This is a hard one to rate, since I am rating on the series as a whole though I have to say 3.5 stars..
I really liked the first book and I like the concept of the story. In fact the storyline itself? I loved! I just feel like the book started to drag on by. And for me there was just too much sex. I know, I know. You're wondering how is there ever too much sex? Well for me, I just was so pulled in by the story itself that I thought the sex every few pages was just getting in the way. I found myself skimming over the scenes. I get that it is how they connect, but I just wanted to find everything out instead of them sleeping together constantly. I think with way less sex scenes this series would have easily been a 4-5 stars for me. Anyways- I loved Alayna and Hudson. Both of their characters have faults but it feels real.
I think every girl can relate to Alayna in some form. We have all been that girl, maybe not to the extent she always went, but we have been there! Excessive texting, being paranoid, even drive bys.. I think it is pretty easy for someone to fall in to the point of no return. That is what happened for her. Everyone has past mistakes.. I think in their own way her and Hudson really do heal each other.. But we all know in order to fully heal from something we have to hit rock bottom first...
Anyways- If you don't mind constant sex scenes then you will love this series. I think it was just too frequent for me but you may love it!!
I am Speechless over this Beautiful/nightmare that was worth every hour spent reading it . I have been through so many ups and downs in the past few days reading this Trilogy my head is still spinning. There are so many twists and turns in these pages it keeps you on your toes and at the edge of your seat biting your nails, or gripping a kleenex while you tearfully turn to the next page, all while begging for more. The strange addicting love affair that Hudson & Alayna share is at times Sexy and sweet, but is also a cluster of unavoidable Tragedy and Heartache. I loved that Laurelin used The Phillip Phillips song So easy and John Legends All of you to portray the characters feeling for one another that was romantic. At times you want to Help the charactors out like Kick Celia's butt, take Hudson's mom to rehab yourself, just to get rid of her miserable behind, or Smack some sense into Laynie to fight back instead of crying so much even though it was warrented. I even wanted to grab Hudson by the arms and shake him until he told Laynie all his deep dark secrets and ended all the turmoil building between them, then smack him in the face for her . This was a real powerful Trilogy for me to read , it was great to get so wrapped up in someone else's Crazy for a while . I can't wait to read Hudson (His POV)
Actually finished this last night, but was too tired to update. I'll give it about 3 stars for the whole package. I really could not get a hold on who these characters were, especially Alayna - who was supposed to be the stable one, despite her past. She was all over the place. I hate how these types of books literally span within a month (when shit hits the fan, its a couple months, but still...). The third book is when there's an attempt for a twist, which if you were paying attention through the rest of the series, you knew what it was - maybe you doubted - but you saw it coming the whole time. I hate the names. Hudson, really? Every time he called her precious, all I could think of was the movie Precious. I just didn't find their whole pasts to be THAT dark. As dark and disturbing as they make it seem. As a series, it just didn't feel collective; each character changed and not changed as in grew or evolved, but was almost as if someone else had written them. All in all, it was an okay read, I just didn't feel attached to it. I wasn't eagerly turning pages or sad when it was over. I do love Mira though. So, so much :)
Spiazzanti
I love a book where two or more characters are flawed. And I love when an author doesn't try to magically fix them, but makes them a work in progress! This series was that for me. I loved the story of Hudson and Alayna. While both have their own issues to work through, it's nice to see them work together. Surrounded by family and friends they both explore a relationship they never thought could happen. And yes, there is sex! But the books are so much more than that. I loved the twists and turns that I can honestly say I never saw coming. Overall, I recommend this series to anyone who loved the 50 Shades series. You won't be disappointed!
This book and series deserves negative stars. One of the worst books I have ever read. I can't believe I wasted money and time on this trash. The main heroine is weak, pathetic, and whiny with serious issues. The hero isn't any better with his own messed up issues. This is nothing like the Crossfire Series and shouldn't be promoted as such because it is nowhere in the same league. The plot never draws me in at any point and it has some very disturbing issues. I hated the characters, the atrocious writing, and everything about these books. Where did all these 4 and 5 star reviews come from because this series was horrendous.
★ SERIES SALE ALERT ★ The Fixed Trilogy, by Laurelin Paige
I haven't read these, but they are on my TBR list. And right now, you can grab the WHOLE TRILOGY for just 77p/$0.99!! All three books of the NY Times Bestselling Fixed Trilogy are included in this bundle.
OMG!!!! What can I say except I fell in love with Hudson from page one. What a crazy rollercoaster story line. Never saw that ending coming. What a shock!!!!! Can't wait to read Hudson.
