‘Ever wondered where you go when you’re dead? Then watch this space. Cos I’ve been there. And here’s something to blitz your mind.
I’m still there.
And I might not be coming back.’
In this third instalment of the Blade Series, Blade has touched the edge of death. His injuries have left him exposed and vulnerable. Now his enemies have tracked him down, and Blade knows they'll show no mercy. If he doesn't get away, he's dead. But he's weak. And he doesn't know what scares him more . . . Breaking Free from those hunting him or Breaking Free from his own past.

Tim Bowler is one of the UK’s most compelling and original writers for teenagers. He was born in Leigh-on-Sea and after studying Swedish at University he worked in forestry, the timber trade, teaching and translating before becoming a full-time writer. He lives with his wife in a small village in Devon and his workroom is an old stone outhouse known to friends as ‘Tim’s Bolthole’.
Tim has written twenty books and won fifteen awards, including the prestigious Carnegie Medal for River Boy. His most recent novel is the gripping Bloodchild and his provocative Blade series is being hailed as a groundbreaking work of fiction. He has been described by the Sunday Telegraph as ‘the master of the psychological thriller’ and by the Independent as ‘one of the truly individual voices in British teenage fiction’.
I loved this book, and even more than the previous two, because I felt that the further knowledge we gained of Blade's early years gave a better understanding of his current situation. Whilst being deeply saddened by the way he lives, I developed a greater understanding of his character as he battles with the overwhelming need to save Jaz and others. Proof is there for the reader who, probably like me, thinks that here is a victim of circumstance, someone who has needed to keep others at a distance. The pace of Blade's story throughout the series unfolds beautifully, paid out in agonising insights that are wonderfully countered by the 'on edge, on alert at all times' present, which in turn locks the reader in via Blade's direct dialogue with Bigeyes. Fantastic... I went straight onto Endgame.
Ok, apenas me doy cuenta que esta saga no la tengo completa, y la editorial no ha sacado los cuatro libros restantes, asi que morire sin saber como le fue a Blade #xniestabatanbuena :(
