Fully updated to mirror the latest CCRN-Adult test plan, this book is well known for its innovative learning strategies, targeted-yet-comprehensive coverage, and meticulous accuracy. Each section of the exam is addressed in detail, with review content presented in logical outline format and accompanied by a wealth of illustrations, tables, and algorithms.
This book has everything you could possibly need to know to pass the CCRN. The problem is that you probably dont have time to memorize over 800 pages of insanely minute details. There is far more information in this book than you need to be able to pass this exam. I gave it an extra star because the CD it comes with is excellent. It contains more than 1000 questions similar to those on the CCRN test.
For anyone preparing for the CCRN, I would stronly recommend the DVD series by Laura Gasparis Vonfrolio, available at https://www.greatnurses.com/exp/index... It is a far more concise review and is actually very entertaining as well.
Your best bet is to study from a combination of sources. Each one has a few things that the others lack.
It has a bank of Q and A. I practiced mainly by answering all questions each topics or body systems. Focus more on cardiovascular and pulmonary, got a lot of questions from this systems during the exam. Highly recommend if you want to pass the exam.
