Great tips to help new quilters

There are some authors, speakers, celebrities that just rub you the wrong way. For me, Eleanor Burns is like that.

I know she has many fans & I'm glad that they connect with her & that she keeps them engaged in quilting.

If I look past her persona & style, I still have some issues with the patterns & how they are presented. Sometimes the math is just off &, while it's probably close enough, it bothers me.

If you are a fan, you'll enjoy this book. Otherwise, maybe look elsewhere.

An awesome reference book w/ tons of projects. Eleanor Burns write the BEST quilting books. The quilts I make from her books always turn out wonderfully.

From the time I met Eleanor Burns in Paducah, KY many years ago, I have been a fan for her traditional quilts made EASY.
