A lovely story promoting inclusion and showing that being different is not a bad thing. Rex wears glasses but none of his friends do, Rex thinks his friends don't like them so decided to stop wearing them. This gets Rex into a lot of trouble because he can't see the dangers around him. His friends tell him how they love his glasses and he feels much happier. A nice story for FS and KS1 children to start discussions about being yourself and friends accepting people for who they are. The book may be particularly useful if there are any children who wear glasses and don't like the fact that they have to wear them to be able to see well.

An adorable look at what it feels like to live with glasses when none of your friends do. Other stories in this set include living with deafness, eczema and stuttering. Excellent tools and fun illustrations for teaching children how to live better when faced with social challenges and being different.
