Stealth #2

Exorcism of the Species

Rate this book
Humanity is in danger of extinction from an otherworldly race of savage creatures hell bent on revenge for their banishment from the physical realm eons ago.

They aim to take back what was once theirs, the physical realm, by culling the human race. They are coming through an open portal into this realm in their thousands and spreading across the whole country, waiting for the signal to begin their invasion.

It's a race against time as Elena has no choice but to join forces with her enemy and enter the forsaken realm to search for the lost items needed to re-enact the banishment of so long ago.

Join them on their journey through the forsaken realm. Travel with them as they battle creatures, tackle obstacles, and seek to avoid letting the savageness of the realm change their very souls.

Each group seeks the means to exorcise the other species from existence.

Only one race can survive.

As you can obviously see, my books have been targeted by vicious trolls on this site, who placed my books in silly, insulting, shelves.

They did this because I know an author they do not like.

I stopped my blog posts from being displayed here after these trolls visited it and showed themselves for what they really were. They attacked, unprovoked, after I mentioned on my blog that I had been targeted and shelved for no other reason than I knew an author they hated.

If you wish to see 'real' reviews and opinions of my books, please visit my Amazon book pages, as nothing on this site is as it seems. The majority of people on Goodreads are genuine book lovers and authors, but the few trolls who are resident here on Goodreads spoil the experience for everyone, as reviews, ratings and shelvings can no longer be a trusted way to choose a book to read. They have turned this once great website into a cesspit of hatred and I now only visit occasionally.

I remain a Goodreads user up to this moment because they refuse to take my books down if I leave. My account may get deleted because of this notice, and if it is, then please be aware that it was done without my knowledge and against my wishes.

Open an author account on goodreads at your peril.

UPDATE 24/08/13

At last there has been some progress. Goodreads have deleted/hidden the vile shelving names from the three worst trolls. Lets hope these shelves stay deleted/hidden. Thank you Goodreads, but more needs to be done about the whole bully culture on your website.

This was an excellent sequel to Fabled Enigma which I reviewed some time ago when it still had its initial working title of Stealth. I am now waiting for the 3rd book in this series as I need to know what happens next. The content of this second book is much darker and more gruesome than that of Stealth 1 but it is all essential to the plot. Gail has a very fertile and imaginative mind. The characters continue to develop throughout this second book and it was good to catch up with them again, it was like meeting up with old friends. There is a lot of action in this novel and a large portion of it is very similar in style to the Indiana Jones adventures. I particularly like the way the different realms affect the humans and paranormal beings, you will have to read it yourself to see what I mean by this.

This book has a very strong plot with adventure and action, paranormal activity, and a variety of relationships. The character’s are colourful and real and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

There are some minor editing issues so unfortunately this does mean that I cannot with all honesty give the book a full five stars so Exorcism of the Species gets 4 and a half from me.

Put it on your to read list.
