A “dark mafia” romance.
The only thing I wished is that there were more build up or more chemistry beside sex with Milo and Melissa. While I don’t mind smut, this one was complete instalust. They share similar kinks and that’s about it.
Melissa is practically getting gambled by her now exfiancé to Milo. And on that same night, he fucks her how she always wanted.
Milo is a hot man freelancer and has an organization that he runs with his best mate. He makes banks. The only thing I like about him is his dominance :P.
The plot? Basic. With the whole kidnapping, violence ,et cetera.
Melissa’s bestfriend was good at the beginning, calling the police when Milo barged into her home, but the fact that she made a complete 180, when she realizes that he has connections with the popo.

Melissa, poor girl, thinking she has a good boyfriend turns out she doesn't when they go to a private game, and she's betted on. Now don't get me wrong, the boyfriend did win, but when you're playing with cheaters and Mafia men, you lose, lol. So Melissa is taken by Milo, who's and underground boss he's higher up and what he wants he gets and Melissa is his.
Mel was enjoying the attention Milo was giving her and she got what she wanted a man who didn't fuck her vanilla lol. They had some good chemistry. The drama was from the ex fiance and how his uncle was a mafia person who was Disrespected by that side of the mafia. They handled it pretty well.
My question was how come Milo didn't get in any trouble with him disobeying the head Boss? Is it going to show in his friends book? I kinda hope maybe his friend and Melissa friend are the next couple?! Lol but I feel like it won't happen.

Not really a fan of insta-love books. I also felt like there wasn’t really a “big event” to make this book even have the illusion of having a plot haha. The spice was spicy but everything else was incredibly mid. I’m still going to read the next one though. 💅🏼

Get comfortable make sure you have your snacks/drink right next to you because you won’t want to move once you start you won’t stop until the last page has been turned so hang on and double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!! Milo sexy as all get out boss usually takes what or in this case who he wants, when he wants, his world isn’t nice in fact it is the opposite of anything good, ruthless on most days, and deadly on a good day a man not to be crossed. Melissa is one feisty girl strong stands up for what she believes in, not afraid to speak her mind standing up to whomever and encaged to a man who pays her no attention, treats her like she is bother on most days, she isn’t happy with Dan sexually, he is a missionary kind of guy where as she wants so much more, and the man sitting across from her fiancé catches her eye when she is placed on the table as a bet of course he loses. The attraction is instant, it is intense, and there is a magnetic pull there, but she is engaged already however, Milo isn’t used to hearing the word no and taking her for himself is what he does rather she likes it or not and he doesn’t care about her fiancé in the least bit. So, when her fiancé wins but of course he is playing with mobsters he loses taking the girl as his prize. Melissa can’t believe her fiancé put her up in a poker game, walked away leaving her then have the audacity to be mad with her because she went home and throwing her stuff away makes her upset considering she had thousands of dollars of camera equipment for her job a wedding photographer but she has Milo who buys her everything she needs and then some but things are as smooth as they seem, how will she react when she finds out who he really is, will she have to face Dan again, what will he have to say for himself, he is the one who bet her, where are the two of them headed and will it lead them to happiness?

It was so bad it was good, it was really short any longer n you would feel like you wasted your time.

I can't relate to being told I'm a toy, plaything, pet, it doesn't do anything for me, but she gobbled it up.
There is no plot, to this short Read, lots of spanking n sex, and the sex scenes are copy and pasted, throughout the book, spank, bend over, thrust, "mine" thrust then the big O, all the time, I begging for him to change it up. Lol!! Even Melissa jokes "you want be bent over the sink" she knows the position. Lol!!
The conflict was over even before it began, the most interesting character was Alessandro, and he's in the book 10%.
I changed my mind I'm giving it a 1 star.

no character development
no emotional intelligence
no safe sex
no common sense
no interesting plot
no angst
no real human connection besides lust between the characters
than this book is for you. If I would have to really rate and compare it with other bestseller list authors, this is just truly pathetic and worth 1 star. But hell, I was entertained the whole way through, I'm gonna be honest. It was a quick fast read to clean the palette and to expect nothing and nothing was delivered.
But I found it funny as hell, sometimes with really good smut scenes. I gave worse ratings for fewer mistakes. Won't I recommend it? No. Will I read the next book? Also no. Do I regret it? Absolutely not. Take from that what you will.

Oh dear lord! 🙈🙈🙈
So I was tempted in by seeing serval TikTok’s on this book.
Those videos basically showed the 1st chapter. And not to be rude but that chapter was the only good one in the whole book.
It felt so awkward. I cringed so much and tbh if it wasn’t so short I would have DNF it. The characters, the dialogue, grammar, scenes, just all of it gave me the worst second hand embarrassment I think I’ve ever had!!

For being a dark romance book, Milo is an awfully sweet character. There is not much story to this romance. It revolves heavily on the relationship. Melissa is a closet submissive girl. When she first meets Milo she is shocked by his dominance but also kind of likes it. The fact that he seems dangerous just adds to his attraction. There is some light BDSM.

I liked it
I enjoyed this - I liked the characters and enjoyed their story although the ending felt a little abrupt, as if things weren't quite fully resolved - potentially setting up for another in a series.

So spicy!
The only negative I can say is I wish it were longer! If you like dirty talk and sexy dangerous men this is right up your alley. Would love to see a second book of Milo and Melissa. Also would love to see Alessandro’s story.

I'm giving it a 4 star, I just felt like it had no ending, no epilogue. I was hoping to read of the wedding and baby something else besides ending with a sew scene.

Light mafia
Insta attraction. Insta hot. I could use more of these two for sure. Would love to see how their lives play out and watch them overcome more. There is a plot but it’s light and relatively easy for a mafia book. Good fun quickish read. Will read more from this author.
