Great book to read to kindergarten children because they are in the tooth loosing stage. This book helps them feel more comfortable when they loose their teeth. This little girl wanted to loose her tooth, so she could have a spacey smile like her peers. She finally lost her tooth when she was eating her food. She put the tooth in her pocket, only to get home and find her pocket had a hole in it. Her whole family joined in the hunt for her missing tooth, then she found her tooth in her SOCK! Hilarious!!!!

I like this book because its a way to get your child motivated to go to bed and sleep quicker and earlier. But in the child's point of view, it is an exciting thing to get excited for when receiving money for a loss tooth. Also to inform them that it is natural for baby teeth to fall out so they aren't frightened by their teeth falling out.

My kids liked the book, but I had a few issues with it. In order for the rhyme to work out, the text is quite awkward in places. All of the kids lost top teeth first, and as all 1st graders know - this just isn't the case! Otherwise, a pretty cute little read-it-yourself book.
