This story is about four girls that take care of a baby lion cub. They had to find the lion family to save the baby lion cub. It turns out that the lion family was stolen by one of the princess's aunt. She ruled a circus, and she wanted the lions to be a part of the acts. This is a good story!!! I recommend this book to girls that are 7-9 years old.

Review by my eight year old daughter…

Princess Lulu and the Rescue Princesses are on a mission to find Tufty the lion clubs missing family. The Rescue Princesses soon discover that finding the lions is harder that they thought, especially with Prince Oalf hanging about. So what will they do? It’s another exciting adventure from the Rescue Princesses!

My 6 year old daughter loved this book so much and was begging me to read "just a few more pages" every night when I'd try to put it down. As a result, we zoomed through it in a matter of days. I didn't realize until half way through the book that it was the third book in a series, so I promptly ordered the others for us to read together. I actually grabbed this book at her school book fair simply because the little girl on the cover resembled my biracial daughter (her father is from West Africa), and I'm always looking for books that have characters that she can possibly see herself in. The cast of these Rescue Princess books are largely from diverse fictional kingdoms and I really love that. The story is rather predictable to me, but she's still developing those skills so she didn't have a clue who was behind the disappearance of the lioness and cubs. Overall, a good introduction to chapter books for kids who still are in a princess phase like mine is.

124 pages. I read three chapters/27 pages. It is an ok story, not too bad or too exciting. I think girls might like it. The group of princesses rescue animals and go on adventures. I might buy it for my library. It kept my attention long enough to recommend it for grades 1-3.

Daughter loves this series

My 7 year old loves this series of books, and their right in target with her reading level. We download them to the kindle and she reads while I help her with some of the words. This is number four we’ve read together.

If my daughter (aged 8) had a goodreads account she would have scored this more generously. But she doesn't, and I didn't like this one. The Wishing Pearl is much better.

This book was ILL and had to go back. I tried to push through the last fifty pages with Natalie all at once. She was falling asleep and asking to stop, so we skipped the last ten pages. Did get through the rescue.

Although Katelyn has read some of these books, and we recommended them to cousins who love them, this is my first book I've read in the series. The girls work together for good and they problem solve. It is a good little story.

The Resque princesess are one of my favorite books to read. The baby lion is so cute. In this story the princesses rescue a baby lion and they bring the lion back to it's mother.
