A cheating boyfriend causes Gwen Coultier to seek a position as a ranger for a family with a lot going on. An orchard, private forest reserve and a bed-and-breakfast make for a chaotic mix that keeps her on her toes, especially when strange things start to happen in the reserve.
With the return of Rome, strange becomes seductive, and refraining from an intimate relationship with the boss's sexy son quickly becomes an impossibility.

Leaving his job with the ATF, Rome Felix comes home to Olivia's Orchards, weary of hunting down psychotic prey. As a shifter, the only black jaguar in his family, he needs stability and room to roam, but when a tantalizing scent greets him at the front door, his plans change, and he begins a new and more erotic type of hunt. And since cats lick what they like, tasting every inch of his mate's body will be a sensual draw he won't ignore.

I really liked this story. Gwen is working at a B&B which also has orchards and forests in FL. The Felix family own it all, live on the property and she lives in a suite in the B&B. The Felix's have four sons, one of them is Rome. So, all in all, Rome takes one whiff of Gwen and knows she's his mate, the problem being that she's a human and the males of his family are all jaguar shifters. It's kind of a secret, you know?

Anyway, the land had allegedly been owned once by a pirate so suddenly people are looking for his treasure. I like the plot of the story and love jaguar shifters, but this story had some serious issues. It wasn't edited very well and there were many instances where an incorrect word with the correct spelling was used. For example, 'where' was used instead of 'were' and 'loose' instead of 'lose'. It was particularly annoying when in one sentence it was saying something was 'too ____' and in the next the something was 'to ____'. Again, words spelled correctly but used in the incorrect place.

This is more of a 2.5 star.

The characters were great as was their chemistry. The plot was interesting some parts were not necessary but overall it was an enjoyable read. There were sine grammatical errors which were distracting but bearable.
