A helpful, if brief, treatment of the call to ministry. While almost every paragraphs is a separate topic worthy of its own chapter, the book is a helpful introduction for any man sensing a call to the ministry (specifically, the pastorate). It is a bit troubling that Ethridge does not make much of a mention of the confirmation of a call by one's elders/pastors/authority figures. But, bearing that in mind, I doubt many would not benefit from the advice, principles, and exhortations presented in this book. The second, biographic, section is also useful to warn and encourage anyone considering the ministry.
