This book was interesting and seemed quite well informed. However, I would have preferred that the book had separate sections for each mythology; Having it by strict alphabetical order meant that everything was jumbled together, making the task of getting a mental overview of each area of folklore a bit difficult.

To be honest, I didnt enjoy it... this book had an alphabetic order which kinda made it a source book so it is not a good book for people who have no idea and want to get familiar.... it just makes you confused.
Another thing is that you have to be seriously in love with eastern Asians mythes to have the best of this book, which is not true in my case, and it was like a lullaby for me.
in short, it is not recommended for beginners. :)
