This textbook was pretty good. It definitely had a lot of good information and interesting topics in it. Also it gave me something to read during quarantine so that's great!
I read the whole dad-gum book, and then I skimmed through it twice more. I found its positive descriptions of socialism concerning, and on the whole it felt really bias and off-balanced. But, hey, I passed my CLEP, so I guess it did its job.
Even though this was a mandatory textbook read for my Sociology class, I really enjoyed learning about the science of society, social institutions, and social relationships. 🤓 Am I being too nerdy?
