Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).
If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

I read the last short first because it's the reason I bought this book! 13 - The Last Leaf -: One of my favorite short stories ever! So sad and sweet at the same time!
1 - A Piece of Wood - Ray Bradbury : I like the thinking behind that one, it's one of those story that makes you want to have a debate with someone about who is right, the Official or the sergeant?
2 - Mr Jones - Truman Capote: Like the writing but.. I want more! Like what is that ending? How? Why? What happened to Mr Jones??
3 - The Landlady - Roald Dahl : Wow! That was a good one! Adorable AND terrifying!
4 - I Spy - Graham Greene : Father and son, both doing what they shouldn't do in the dark. Interresting!
5 - Dear Alexandros - John Updike : There was something bitter coming from this exchange between two person who have nothing in commun except those letters.
6 - The Telegram - Iain Crichton Smith : Haunting.
7 - In Affection and Esteem - Mary Webb : This one was so sad, it stinged a lot!
8 - The Luncheon - W. Somerset Maugham : The building was nice but i'm not sure I like the ending on that one.
9 - The Letter - Bernard Malamud : The themes seemed interresting, and the premise too, but I didn't find the execution catching enough.
10 - A Night at a Cottage - Richard Hughes : I was hoping for more but still nice.
11 - Charity - Liam O'Flaherty : That was just sad.
12 - The Fly - Katherine Mansfield : That was sadder, and slighty weird.
Overall, this was good collection of short novels. Most of them are rather sad or pessimistic but the different authors make it diverse enough to never get bored.
Un super livre en anglais, très bien annoté, efficace pour enrichir son vocabulaire ; et surtout composé de magnifiques nouvelles, variées, touchantes. Un plaisir!
