Part memoir, part opinion, and part insight; a short love letter from a photographer to one of his favorite subjects. Finn makes a strong case for thinking and observing differently when approaching physical works, even when preaching to the choir.

Great for a quick overview for an art ignoramus like me - some of the best sculptors in a nutshell - inspires me to visit and feed my culture vulture

This book is a non-scholarly, enthusiast's personal account of how to look at sculptures. I learned very little. The writing style is competent.
