Have the ladies of Boswell Group gathered enough evidence to take down the target they are after? As more evidence comes in and the day grows closer, tensions mount among everyone involved. Friendships are tested, relationships start to unravel, and stress levels soar. Which couples will barely survive the end, and which ones will flourish? Will their love for each other be enough to last once all their hard work is done, or will they have to start all over to survive this investigation’s toll on everyone?
Months of investigating, hard work, death threats and planning and it comes down to one night.....have the girls got all their ducks in a row? Are there unforseen twists to surprise them? Corruption to trip them up? And ghosts from the past.. both good and bad? Yes, obviously yes, unfortunately yes and always yes...but that doesn't stop them. They are awesome as always and we have a lot of extra cast members join them...do we get a Boswell 3 series with Carl, Francesca and Gloria? And will there be a final book/novella of the court case where we get to see where all the couples are six/twelve months down the line? There seem to be a lot of background threads left hanging ... I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
I feel like the ladies often Boswell Group. The anticlimactic, but this entire series has been one climax to another. A superbly written series. The characters were real, the secondary were just a real. I loved that everyone got retribution based on a "rumor" for who knows how many women and children that were abducted or kidnapped for sick individuals. It has been forever since the beginning when Lucas and his brother found Morgan, and Lucas wanted to keep her, however from that moment I have waited for each and every new installment of Boswell Group II, I don't know if there is a final book wrapping every thing up, but Ms. Rowley you certainly left a small question in my mind. I could interpret my own ending, (sign of excellent writer to be able to do such), or accept and know all the Ts and Is will be crossed and dotted.
Every nook in this series has not only been a complete pleasure to read, but also a complete escape. I was there. Kudos!
This last book of the series brought everything together. Deanna L. Rowley writes involved plots and sub-plots into her novels. While trying not to give away any spoilers, I was impressed with some of the actions taken to foil those men who believed that only they had all the power, no matter the circumstances or the situation.
There were some moments of humour. After reading this book will you have a laugh, a chuckle or a bit of a snigger about “coupons”?
This is one of those series where you need to read each book to enjoy what each character brings to develop the story. Then enjoy the unraveling. Lots of team work, with the EWM women and the men from Ranchers, FBI, BCI as well as an Attorney General.
It has been a long time coming. The case grew and grew and grew until more alphabet agencies were involved than you can shake a stick at. It helps to have read all the other books but it is not absolutely vital. Deanna does a good job of cluing us in on who is who. I have to say that I agree with the ladies of Boswell. The takedown was anticlimactic, to say the least. I find myself wanting more. More info on Mandi. What happens next?
I loved this book and the outcome of all of the previous 9 books. I love all of the characters: the Boswell ladies, the J's and A's and especially Chuck. The parents and all of the members of all the different agencies. Deanna L. Rowley...now what's next!!!
The entire series was really great to read. I enjoyed the strong female characters and the roles they played. I felt that it was important to show the conflict in relationships when women have strong roles and it shows that the male in the relationship must be strong and confident enough to be able to maintain that bond/relationship. Thanks Becky
The ladies of Boswell and their men are in a tough situation with the final prep for taking down the human trafficking ring. Rogue and unsavory agents thinking they can get away with anything, tension among the couples and new life all rolled into one story.
I was disappointed in this book. The other nine (9) were truly good, this one ended in a cliffhanger. It was also a review of the previous books. You hinting at Boswell ???? This is my opinion and my opinion only.
LOVED the book & all the characters. The women & men were fantastic and you had so many different stories going on; I had to re-read some parts. But, thank you 🤗🇨🇦😘
This was a great detailed book. I liked that every scenario was talked and planned about. The book would have been even better without so many errors, but glad we finally got the ending we have been waiting for, but there has to be other books or a special Christmas book with all the couples and special announcements. Just a thought.
