MALACHI WILLIAMS is an upcoming kingpin in Brooklyn, New York who thrives while living a nefarious lifestyle full of danger and crime. There's an ongoing investigation into Malachi's street affairs, and someone in his trusted circle isn’t honoring the codes of the street.
With his back against the wall and extremely powerful figures confronting him about his turf, is Malachi about to learn that the Italian mafia is as powerful as always?
After someone Malachi trusts commits the ultimate transgression, the hate in his heart fuels a level of ruthlessness within him that will ignite an all-out attack on the most powerful mafia family in the city. Will Malachi and THE BLACK DIAMOND CARTEL be strong enough to take down the old guard? Or will they find out that wisdom reigns over brashness?
It would have been better if there was character descriptions, if we were given info on how you arrived at the title. I must have missed it because I don't remember reading about it. I'm on the fence about Malachi, do I like him, or do I not like him. Maybe book 2 will give me more clarity with descriptions on the characters and how they came to be. As well as the title! I.E The Black Diamond Cartel.
An intense storyline with excellent character development. I enjoyed and recommend this five star read. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
