The 1st book was absolutely amazing. I remember the very last part of the 1st book, but to have a synopsis if what occurred in the 1st book was great and truly appreciated.
I love the main characters and the broody moody Maverick!! I cannot wait to see where book 3 takes us.

Just like all of Steph's books, I devoured Ruthless Redemption. This one does have shifting in it, which I don't read much of. I thought it had a good pace, which is why I think I read it so fast. There is a good balance between plot spice.
There's a lot going on and it's action packed. The ending wasn't expected and I can't wait for the next!

Hot, suspenseful, on the edge of your seat waiting for Steph to disclose more info on the why’s and who’s.
Nyx and Lex had so many small moments that made me fall for Lex through this turmoil book two brought for Nyx.
Steph brings so many details to ever scene it leaves your craving more. She gives the character, especially the guys different personalities that bring so much to the books you fall in love with each one even when you want to hate one.
Book one set the scene for what is going on with other packs while getting to know Nyx as a omega then a alpha’s mate. Then book 2 gives you so many questions that it leaves you wanting books three while you salivating over the 🔥🔥🔥 scenes.
Nyx and Lex had so many small moments that made me fall for Lex through this turmoil book two brought for Nyx.

Ruthless Redemption is the second instalment in the Midnight Psychos series by Steph Macca.
I found this to be an improvement on the first book where we start to see some good character and plot development. I quite enjoy Nyx as a FMC, and I think she handles the unfavourable situations she is forced into quite well. I really enjoyed seeing her relationship with Lex blossom, and of course I enjoyed the angst between her and Maverick. This book does leave you on another cliffhanger, but I feel like it works quite well for the pacing and this plot.

This book picks up right away and kept me interested.
Filled with mystery, action, some steam and more!!
I feel like we get a few answers in this book, but there is still so much to learn.
I really liked Nyx in this book. It was good to see her growth.
I feel like we get a little relationship development between Nyx and Lex and I was glad for that.
I do have mixed feelings about Maverick, but I have a feeling my mind will be changed in the next book.
I think this was a great way to continue. I can't wait to find out what happens next, especially after that ending!! I do have a few speculations, but we shall see.

I was totally obsessed with the first book, this one is no exception.
We start right where we left off in book one. This cliffhanger has been stuck in my head ever since.
We get introduced to a moody, grumpy alpha Maverick from the start. He refuses to acknowledge Nyx as his fated mate. The sexual tension between these characters are enough to drive you insane. When they come together they are explosive. We might not be totally in love with Maverick yet but as the story continues I can tell we are going to love him soon.

Ruthless Redemption is book 2 in the Midnight Psychos series by steph macca and picks up were book 2 left us at. This is not a standalone so book one is needed to be read to know what is going on.
Characters have growth especially Nyx. We see more of Nyx and Lexs relationship growing. Her relationship with Maverick is still on the hate side of things I can't wait to see what happens there. I loved this read as much as booked one and look forward to book 3.

There’s a lot to unpack (no pun intended) in this part of the story. More mystery, lots of questions but we’re starting to get a clearer picture.
Packs have disappeared without a trace, and females are being kidnapped to help other packs reproduce.
And Nyx has two mates, one who loves her and one who won’t acknowledge her. They’re all learning more about the strange disappearances and each other.

Ruthless Redemption is the second book in the Midnight Psychos by Steph Macca. We’re still with Nyx, aka Red, and Lex. This picks up where book one left us. There’s so much pack politics going on. Lots of steamy, spicy times. Some TW to look for. Red is such a strong, smart FMC that I just love. Big cliff hanger at the end! Looking forward to the next book!

In book 1, Nyx finds Alpha Lex to be her fated mate. At the end of book 1, we find Alpha Maverick to also be her fated mate. While Lex is fully accepting of the bond, Maverick tries his hardest to fight against it. I personally have never minded the fated mate scenario but I feel like Nyx needs to get better acquainted with Lex and I guess Maverick at this point. At the beginning Lex is obviously upset about Nyx's second fated mate but towards the end he acts like it's okay with him since it's fates decision. I'm just not sure I believe it.
I'm totally frustrated with how all the Alpha's treat Nyx. Yes, I get that she is a bit chaotic and that she speaks her mind but even in book 1 her own Alpha Daxton drives me nuts. He sees Nyx as stronger and faster but instead of telling her that she is exceeding expectations they just give her harder targets to fight with and yell at her to be faster. They never seem to explain why. Plus whenever she asks questions they all get irritated with her.
Definitely a good story. I love Nyx and her take no crap attitude. There is a huge storyline with missing packs and other wolves attacking packs that is ongoing. Can't wait to see where this goes. And Knox?!? My Spidey sense is tingly...

5 Stars: Loved it! Couldn’t put it down or obsessed about it while needing to get to the end of it. Had to share some bits with my hubby!! Usually read in less than 2 days cause a girl has got to sleep sometime. Will be reading everything this author has to offer and most likely reread the series as next books in the series are released.
4 Stars: Really Good. Whether the story drew me in or a specific character, will definitely continue the series and look into more books by this author.
3 Stars: Enjoyed something about the book, whether it be the storyline or a character but also may have not liked something. Sometimes the book is great but needs some TLC from an editor. May or may not continue the series.

Holy Dooley. So we stepped right back into Nyx's complicated world, and let me tell you, it gets even more messy.
Poor Nyx, she's really going through it. After learning of Lex being her fated mate, she then realises that Maverick, the Alpha of the Night Pack, is also her fated. She struggles with this reality a lot throughout this book, as you can imagine seeing as how everyone always thought you usually only have 1 mate. We delve deeper into what is truly going on with the disappearing packs, and let me tell you, it's a lot more complicated than any of them initially realise.
Also, Nyx is a lot more special than we think. We got snippets as to why, but I know more will be revealed.
I'm excited to see what happens next, especially with the cliffhanger Steph left us on. I knew everything wasn't as it seemed....

Okay, so..
.. the cliffhanger from book #1 was a good addition to the whole title reason for being there. The book was a bit spicier than the last, perhaps book #3 will clarify the addition of "dark" in the title. It may sound like I didn't find this book an enjoying read, but that's not true. It was, I just don't quite understand the title or listings it has. I've definitely read enough stories that were ominous, immoral and forbidding, but I suppose that we all have a different thought on the various pitches of darkness out there. I, more than likely, wouldn't be address this if the title was different. Still, it was a good read and I'm super pissed that the next book is a whole year away,.. like come on, now that is true wickedness.

Brilliant part #2 to the story.
I loved the continuation of the story - felt, like the first installment, the pacing was well done and I've got a good picture of the overall structure of the world. I enjoyed the spice, like other Macca works, it's nicely described without being over the top or too much.
I'm engaged and want to know more about what is happening, especially with the cliffhanger ending - be prepared...
I like the cookie crumbs of the mystery being delivered and the character development.
Maverick, Lex and Nyx are fun - but the side characters are nicely utilised too - I know enough about them to care about then, but also not so much that I have too much to remember.
Book 3 is ready to go on my tbr!

Nyx has quickly become one of my favorite fmcs! Shes quick, witty, sassy, and FAST. This is book two of the series, picking up where we left off… with a SECOND mate bond clicking into place 🥴 Alpha A-hole, I mean Maverick, does not want a mate and it seems especially not Nyx.. except in the dark. We follow Nyxs pack and the visiting packs on a journey for answers, some questions are answered and of course more arise. Steph killed it again with the cliffy, and I can’t wait to read more of the Midnight Psychos!

Fantastic!
Wow wow wow! I loved this book! I finished it in a day and I’m so excited to read the third when it comes out! I loved the romance, I liked the drama and the different dynamics that were had, I thought the plot was fast paced and loved along so well! I also liked that this had some action, some great interactions with other characters, and honestly I thought Nyx was a fantastic character. I felt so badly for her, I could see how hard it was for her being torn and in a mess. Overall, loved Steph’s work! I always find myself really enjoying everything she does!

Excellent book 2 in the series. Mates are being found, bonds are being cemented, and lies are everywhere. Massive cliffhanger at the end of this one!
I love the FMC, her bestie, and the band of Alpha men that surround them. Answers don't come quickly, but watching the evolution of the bonds of the characters is interesting to watch. I don't know where this is going to lead, but I am rooting for Nyx most of all!

This was awesome!
Picking up right where the last book ended and having a small recap was genius! I know that I probably should have waited until the next book was gonna be released but every day it'd be starting at me judging me for not reading. Now I want to know if she saw whom she thought she did and that ending will have me staying up worrying about what could happen. But I can't wait for the next book!!

I enjoyed this so much, once I’d started it I just had to keep reading. The whole book is much more tense and action packed than the first, but there’s still so much spice.
It’s very easy to hate Maverick but by the end both Nyx and I are starting to come around. There appear to be traitors within the packs, but it just be a giant red herring.
The ending sucked, mainly because it’s too good and I now need to read what’s going to happen next.

Continuing with Nyx’s story was confusing. I mean for parts of it I felt like slapping some of these characters upside the head. It sucks that polygamy within this world isn’t highly thought of because I feel like that would solve some problems.
I can see where Maverick is coming from not wanting a mate but I feel like that will only hinder and hurt them both down the line.
I can also understand how Lex felt because well yeah but still 😩
I still love the fact the Nyx is a strong willed woman but dang that stubbornness 🤦🏻♀️

This was an amazing read that had me hooked from the very first page. It moves along at a pace that is perfect for the story making for an enjoyable read that you cant put down. The characters are awesome and no matter what happens you cannot help but love them. This book is a must read, there is no doubt about it.

The second book in the series has a twist that most wolf shifter series don’t have and I am so here for it. Why choose is one of my favorite tropes and having 2 alphas is kind of unheard of, so lucky Nyx! The mystery behind the missing packs and a possible impending war makes things very interesting. Loving it and looking forward to book 3.

More unanswered questions come to light in this book but tensions are running high between Alphas - Lex and Maverick mainly due to Nyx (FMC). Lots of sexual scenarios between all of them with Lex becoming more possessive and Maverick being more of an Alpha-hole than the previous book. I'm loving this series so much and with that cliff-hanger ending I cant wait to see how it will play out in the next book. A great read.

To say I was not ready for the ending of this book. Ok...maybe just a little but not how it happens. I love the slow build of the fmc's pack and how in this world it seems odd to have more than one mate. Did I like how Lex behaved some times..no but he is an Alpha and....ummm...territorial 😉 so I'll give him a pass. I'm on the edge of my chair for book three!

I don’t want to give anything away, but I will say this book sets us up for the epic finale that I can’t wait for. Steph Macca leaves us with a cliffhanger that is a heart stopper.

Could not put the 2nd book down. Nyx cannot catch a break. Her relationships and trying to navigate them all whilst trying to figure out what the hell is going on, is a lot for a young girl who only just turned 21.
I’m loving watching her grow.
And Lex is devine. The perfectly perfect Alpha. All man ♥️

Ooooo!! So so good!! I love how sassy Nyx is especially with Alpha Maverick. And their hate chemistry is ridiculously hot! I have so many questions as to what is really going on. That cliffhanger has my heart in my throat and my stomach in knots. Ugh, I need the next book asap!
