It was just a quick reference-style book that lists some fun games. Most of them did not require pen and paper, which is exactly what I was looking for since I get sick if I read/write in the car. There were some fun ideas. Out of the 52, I think there were 4-5 that I was interested in trying.

This is a great book for people of all ages wanting to do some new & fun activities as they drive! I liked the word-game ideas, but for kids they have art-type activities, as well!

Oh my, how times have changed! I wish that we had a book like this when I was little. The thousands of miles that we drove around the country would have been less painful.

Then again, my parents wouldn't allow us to do most of these activities. We were allowed a deck of cards. That's it. Pens, pencils, crayons, markers, or anything that could cause potential injuries were not allowed.

However, it was okay for me to sleep lying across the back window. That was safe especially while my dad was smoking and pumping gas. Ya know, gas wasn't dangerous or flammable back then. Ha! Ha!
