No piece of furniture recognizes and accommodates the human form to such a degree as the chair. This book presents a number of chairs- classic, artistic, fanciful, or practical- that are devoted to the simple but beautiful pleasure of sitting. Excellent photography and brief histories are accessorized with sidebar info and tips for collectors.
