BLAZE is the first book in the Knights of Hades MC Security series, a gritty series about demons who ride motorcycles offering specialized security services and the women they claim as their own. It's an action packed thriller that can be read on its onw and is intended for mature audiences. It may contain scenes upsetting to some readers.
2.5-3 stars. This book wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. It was just........ok(meh). The book had a good start, meaning it had a good foundation. A story about demons getting out of hell and doing good. It has some good side characters. Reaper and Sydney (I do want to read about) and Cinder and Lacey(I'm not signing up for anybody's newsletter just to read a story so I'll guess I'll miss Cinder and Lacey's story). The book just felt a tad bit flat for me. I wanted to read a better description on what Blaze looked like. I had a hard time visualizing what his demon looked like. All we get as a description is he had a molten like body and skin stretched across a skull for a face. And yes he had flames coming out of his eyes. But it just didn't go deep enough for me. Another issue was the ending it was rather weak with all the build up leading up to it it just died. Her fear and worries about her ex Enzo coming for her and the final battle between Enzo and Blaze was just sad. She never really saw it she hit her face but did hear it but the author owes it to the reader and she's going to drag how awful Enzo was to her at least let us see the battle between the two. Also the battle between the Light Judicators and the MC was also very weak. UGH!!! AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE SO-CALLED THIRD ACT BREAK UP! She walks in and over here is Blaze telling Bones that she means nothing to him. So instead of her calling him out on it or confronting him about it she just stays silent. Never wants to see apologized, grovel or anything like that it was just "Oh you rescued me, you're my mate I love you!"I would have liked to have seen them talk it out and him apologizing for what he said. I think she(the author) was just ready to be done with this book and rushed the ending. Will I be reading bones's book? Don't know. I do want to read Reapers and Sydney's story as that was the more interesting couple of all of them. One other thing Blaze tells his love interest that he can't get her pregnant due to being a demon (I believe) but Cinder and Lacey were able to get pregnant? That was never really cleared up. Was it just him or the fact that the author messed that one up.

2.5⭐️ This was just an ok read for me. I loved the premise of the story. Demons escaping Hell to form an MC on Earth, sign me up! It hooked me in the beginning but as the story progressed it fell flat. I felt like I was missing something. I thought that Blaze was book 1 in the series but apparently it’s not. Cinder and Lacey’s story is available through the author’s newsletter. Just wish I knew that before I started reading this book.
I figured as the story progressed it would make better sense but…nope. And what the heck was that ending even about? Seemed kinda pointless with that whole Santi Pastori storyline. It left me with more questions than anything. Anyway….it was an interesting idea for a story but needs a bit more development, imo 🤷🏻♀️.
This is book one in a supernatural MC series. This first book follows Kennedy who has escaped an abusive husband. Kennedy is so young and trying hard to do better and protect herself. Unfortunately, the car breaks down right in a desert outside the town of the Knights of Hades MC. The Knights are returning home from a run when they spot Kennedy on the side of the road. Blaze takes the opportunity to dismount from his bike to offer help to Kennedy, but she is afraid of these men who are so tall and intimidating. Kennedy pulls a gun on Blaze and his brothers. Their story begins there. There is a happy ending. Read On!
Okay, this book took me for a ride. I loved the mix of human and paranormal and the spins this book took. I loved how despite not admitting it, his dedication to her! She was protective of those she loved, even if I didn't agree necessarily on her way of going about it. Hot, steamy read!
The Kennedy of Hades is a mc club made up of demons and now shifter. And Blaze has met Kennedy a run away mafia wife needing protection. In this new mc romance. Looking forward to reading more
This is the first book that I have read by this author, but it will not be the last. This book draws you in from the start and keeps your attention through the end. Good characters and plot along with good twists and turns plus action and suspense. Very enjoyable.
Love the H/h dynamic, enjoyed meeting all the characters in and around the club and the paranormal was just right. The MC aspect was well written with a good storyline.
I love MC romance, and I love paranormal romance, I don't think I've ever read a book that gives me both, especially a demon mmc. I went on an exciting ride with this book and I'll be definitely reading book 2 when it comes out.
Damn when I decided to read this I was being picky and kinda just settled on this cause ... Well demons. But damn this was so good nothing like a touch her and die bad boy. I couldn't put it down it was so good.
Loved this! Good story line, great characters. I can't wait for Bones' book come out. I have one question though...Blaze told Kennedy he couldn't get her pregnant but the reason was never given (or did I miss something?).
I was intrigued by the idea of a demon MC, so imaginative! and read the prequel "Cinder". Both stories have plenty of drama, OTT possessive MMC, romance, and redemption. The next in series will be out later this month and I'll definitely read it.
Wasn't quite sure what I expected. Story line was good. This falling in a week is far fetched. The odds of finding a soulmate in a week not that good. But all in all good story.
Motorcycle club, check. Big sexy men, check. Beautiful girl running from danger, check. Instant attraction, check. Paranormal twist and what have you got? Perfection. Loved the story.
I fell in love with Rowan Hart's Nightshade vampire series, so I decided to give her MC demon series a try. Overall, I really enjoyed this book! It wasn't as good as her vampire series in my opinion, but I've always been more of a vampire fan so that could be why. I liked both main characters for the most part; their relationship seemed a bit...rushed or forced? I guess the whole "fated mates" thing comes to play with that. I think this book would have benefitted from being a little longer to flesh out their relationship more. Overall, if you liked the Nightshades give this series a try!
