If you like action, smart twists, and a no-nonsense hero who gets the job done, this series is for you. James Macrae is a tough, sharp ex-agent who takes on dangerous missions that feel ripped from today’s headlines. Each book is fast-paced, gritty, and hard to put down. No fluff here, just solid storytelling with plenty of suspense, close calls, and a few surprises. Perfect for fans of Jack Reacher or Jason Bourne who want a modern-day thriller series for their next binge read!

So-so
The plot was good, but the characterization was poor . The hero was a Jeckle and Hyde shallowly done. I kept expecting the word "dastardly" to crop up. The writing was trite, for example, "
