Lori Wilde can’t remember a time when she didn’t want to write. She even went to nursing school so she could have a schedule flexible enough to allow her to write on the side. She nursed for 20 years, working in a variety of settings from the newborn nursery to the recovery room, to dialysis. But she never lost her desire to write.

She sold her first book in 1994 to Silhouette Romance but later discovered she had a flair for comedy and branched out to Harlequin Duets and now, to Blaze.

Lori is an adventuresome soul who loves to travel. She’s taken flying lessons, completed two marathons, rode in a hot-air balloon, performed with a professional jazz band, traveled Europe as a teenager, hiked volcanoes in Hawaii, trod on glaciers in Alaska, shot white-water rapids, water-skied, snow-skied, raced all-terrain vehicles, bodysurfed in the Gulf of Mexico, and photographed grizzly bears in Yellowstone.

She lives in her native Texas, with her own real-life hero, Bill.

Really cheesy. Just too much. He was a jerk to the real her and then all of a sudden professing his love. Please. And Hypnosis, really? Not the way it works when really done.

These were dumb. And we know I can read a lot of lame romance novellas, but these were awful - one-dimensional characters, man-ogre Alaskan puts an ad in a newspaper for a husky, hearty wife, and petite gorgeous blonds and brunettes get picked? Vomit. I skimmed the first one, and settled on just reading the end of the second (which was awful - have I said that already?) and I won't be finishing the series.

its been a long time since I've read this. but i remember the characters being a lil annoying.
the first girl does a lil crotch dive during a plane ride. which wasn't very funny.&the storyline is completely unrealistic.who flies to another country where they've never been just to get with someone they don't know? &the whole ugly duckling gets a makeover is so overdone.honestly, she was just a loser.

The women in this book were shy and longing to have adventures in there lives.They were ready to have love,romance,adventure and finally marriage. They were funny, charming, daring women. I learned if you beleave in yourself you could achieve anything in life.

I read this book first even though it is stories 2 and 3. The Alaskan men are hot and hunky and the women are fun and smart! I am totally reading the first and fourth of these - they are great fun reads!
