Another enjoyable trawl through football's byways. This edition has a decidedly Portuguese flavour with Ben Shave kicking things off and a lovely piece from Andy Brassell charting the sad decline of Belenenses and Boavista - the two Lusitanian clubs that have done most to challenge the grip of the Big Three in that country but which have fallen on hard times.
A novel piece positing a new approach to televised soccer from Gabriele Marcotti is also well worth a read (and a ponder) although articles from David Bartram on China and Tom Dart on stadia location could have perhaps delved deeper given the rich subject matter. Still a feast as always - with Tim Vickery's parallel between Brazilian football and politics another highlight.
