Gaurav was born and brought up in Kota, the education city of Rajasthan. The craze for IIT-JEE among students coming from across the nation, along with profound interest in the field of science and maths motivated him to prepare for joint entrance examination (IITJEE) and get admission into Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). After completing his bachelors from IIT, he has been working as a software developer, earlier NetApp, Microsoft and now Cisco. He loves to read and write and submerges himself in it whenever he finds time or during weekends.
He was studying in 7th standard when he wrote his first poem when the rhyming lines started floating in his mind while he was preparing for an exam. and then his interest in writing took wings. He wrote a few more poems and kept writing until completion of secondary education. By the time he completed college, he had written few poems, small articles and a script for a play in college. And then he saw a dream to write a story based on the experiences that students have in a college, a story that he wanted to reach to people, a story that said that life of every individual could be an extraordinary journey in itself. He wishes to dedicate himself to telling stories which people can connect with.
