very useful for starting out with paint and such. clear, concised, well illustrated and well structured; the exercises are simple ways to make a point and they make you want to go grab a paintbrush and give it a try.

This is a good little book. I don't know that I learned anything absolutely new about color but the book's illustrations and text were very good, including many aspects of color and color mixing, plus exercises and short sections on particular artists. Too bad it's out of print.

Leído para un promp de un reto de lectura, la verdad es que me gustó mucho. Muy corto y al punto, explica técnicas y formas de entender el color. Bastantes cosas nuevas y recordatorios de lo básico, mucho inciso en llos contrastes, me faltó analizar el significado que le asignamos a cada color.
