A part of the Plays for Actresses collection, this short is a darling one-act. Kitty (12) and Tina (10) are sisters who are going to sleep. The dialoge is spot on for sisterly late night conversation. In 10 short pages, Gallagher is able to flesh out real-to-life relationship of sisters. I hope one day to play Tina...
The sisterly dialogue felt right although trying to anticipate where actual sisters might laugh at each other sometimes felt a little forced. Interesting ideas of young teen/preteen sisters talking about the aspects of forever. A little deeper and existential then the title suggests, but it doesn't go very far being a one act.
