This is an audio course, with PDF transcripts available online. It's best placed as a supplementary resource to strengthen listening and speaking skills, and something I listened to on my iPod whilst walking to Hawaiian classes during summer. It covers some ground in terms of grammar and common vocabulary, but is limited. The descriptions of islands are a little more advanced at first, and not for the faint-hearted, but these can be repeated and used for more intensive listening practice later.
