I picked this one up at a charity shop in Notting Hill from a random pile. Mid-tier poets populate the anthology; even the Allen Ginsberg poem they chose did not stir anything in me. Of all the 141 contributors, only 11 stood up. These are them:
1. Pete Brown- House by the Airport
2. George Charlton- The Windows at the Club
3. Tony Curtis- Caitlin Macnamara
4. Carol Ann Duffy- Hard To Say
5. Helen Dunmore- [her write-up]
6. Henry Normal- More Intimate Fame
7. Ian Crichton Smith- On the Golan Heights
8. Ken Smith- Running on Empty
9. Martin Stannard- Commercial
10. Gael Turnbull- The Office Required of Them
11. Anne Waldman- I Quit
