The vampire Deshwitat, imprisoned for centuries by a sorcerer, is released upon the world and seeks revenge against the one that imprisoned him, and also helps fight against evil as he tries to find his place in the modern world.
This volume is much better than Rebirth, Book 9. It is still quite the same, telling the story between the big occasions, but this time more is happening. In the end there is more action also.
Secrets are revealed and new questions asked, especially the question of who the Man in the Robe is. The good years are over. I think we soon will get to know what happened and made Kalutika the enemy. Why his personality changed from the 17th century to 21st century is something I'd like to know.
Other stuff that's happening: - Lilith and Desh's relationship is moving forward ♥ - The mystery of Kalutika's birth. (I laughed so hard!)
Volume 10 of the epic Korean vampire saga is a continuation of the flashback that began in book 6. Desh, Kal and Rhett have become fast friends which has upset evil Cardinal Josimov so he kidnaps Desh' beloved Lilith and Kal's sister Danube. Rhett and Kal set off on a quest to find out the secret of Kal's birth, leaving Desh to fight the evil hoards and rescue the damsels in distress himself. He fails, though survives, barely.
This is the best volume of Rebirth I've seen in a while. The pace is good, plenty happens and the artwork's not bad at all. There are some lovely moments between Desh and Lilith, the villains are great and we learn a little of Kal's mysterious origins.
Not bad at all.

Part of the new wave of manhwa (Korean manga) the 'Rebirth' series catalogues the story of a 17th century vampire named Deshwitat L. Rudbich, who has been released from 300 years of stasis by his enemy, the evil sorcerer Kalutika Maybus.
Volume Ten continues the story (from Volume 8) of how Deshwitat first met Rett and Kalutika, and saved the life of his future fiancee, Lilith...
Reviewing this book after re-reading it since joining GoodReads.
This volume was much more interesting than the last volume. There is quite a bit of action and intrigue, and while some questions are answered, there are new mysteries that have arisen.
