Can sex fulfill your every need? Eddie and her mistress spend their weekends soaked in sex; orgies and private parties exploring every facet of human sexuality, but is it enough? When Eddie and Madame play with Alain he has a strange and unnerving effect on Eddie. The encounter leaves her questioning her relationship with Madame and the life they lead. Is it enough or is there more to life and sex? Torn between the known and unknown, who and what will Eddie choose?
Never has kinky sex felt so normal. Actually, what I mean is, it has never felt so real. So often the world of domination and submission, master and servant, and wanton sexual fulfillment is placed in an exotic world that feels nowhere like home. In Normal, Rubby Kiddell has created real characters with honest human emotions who follow a path that is wholly believable and deeply engaging.
Eddie is a woman fully connected to her partner (Madame) and completely comfortable in her role as a submissive. And yet, somewhere in the middle, during an incredibly intense (and super hot) scene with a man she's never met, something else appears. Mixed in with the desire, lust, and giving her whole self, other feelings of attachment and connection arise as they so often do in our lives.
For the rest of the story Eddie struggles with the yearning in her heart as well as the one between her thighs. Never judging, never asking us to choose right from wrong or one path from another, we follow her struggle with interest, compassion, and most of all, a huge desire to see where her life takes her.
Normal, is honest, real, and delightful. The characters are sincere, believable, and, wonderfully sexy. This story will get you off completely: in heart, body, and soul.
Ever since I stumbled accross her blog I have been a fan of Ruby. Her imagery and style had inspired and shaped my own writings because I admired her so much.
Normal is such a beautiful, descriptive piece of work. Eddie's journey through her relationship with Madam and Alain is realistic and far removed from 'normal life' at the same time. I loved it.
