Very basic but logical

This is a very short read & is very basic on the subject of prepping. I wouldn't call it ultimate but I will say that it gives some sound advice on the topic. It isn't a flippant tin hat, tongue in cheek zombie 'pocalypse guide, nor is it a gloom & doom you're gonna die guide. It's a pretty good guide for a newbie prepper. Once they digest the info in this guide they can move on to the more advanced guides that are available.

A fairly easy read. I was able to get through several pages a day in between work and home which was nice as it allowed me to absorb more information. I really did enjoy this book and wish it had been longer, but it was still an excellent resource. Unfortunately it gets three stars for being so succinct as to almost be glib, despite its sheer volume of facts. Ms. Hahne has written a very useful text and it has helped me, but sadly she has crammed so very much information into so few pages that I felt a little cheated.

Most sections were two pages front and back, which is fine...until she attempts to squash everything about solar ovens and water storage into said pages and we are left wanting.

All in all, good book but I'd get one that's longer and more in depth.
