Rate this book
Welcome to Cape Falls, a town with old-fashioned values.

Amy Grant survived much at the hands of her ex-husband. Now all she wants to do is live her life and provide a good home for her two children. When complaints from the residents of Cape Falls force her out of a job, Amy has no choice but to turn to Gabriel Anderson.

Gabriel has felt a deep connection to the young mother ever since he saved her from a brutal attack from her husband. He opens up his home to her in the hope she will soon be his.

However, Gabriel holds a dark secret. He is a dominant man with the need to see Amy submit to him. With such a hard past behind her, will Amy be able to accept the kind of passion Gabriel wants? Or can Gabriel finally let the darkness inside him go for the woman he loves?

Sam Crescent

Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

Mine to Keep

He sees the bruises and burn marks she tries to hide and knows her husband is going to kill her or try at some point. Over the wks Gabriel becomes closer with the kids and waits. When he gets a phone call from the little boy, he comes running and gets there just in time to save Amy. He was going to kill her and had already beaten her to with in a inch of her life. With the husband in jail, Amy trying to heal physically and emotionally, the little town of Cape Falls doesn't help Amy at all. The rumors of Amy, how could she do that to her husband, and he was such a good guy and now the rumors of her and Gabriel the town sheriff. Gabriel, doesn't care what the town thinks her just want to protect and cherish this beautiful woman that has been so hurt. He already loves her two little ones. But can he convince Amy to risk her heart?

Very touching love story. Gabriel is truly the white night in shining armor! He is the guy we all dream of and hope to find. Amy is in the worst situation. A loveless marriage with a guy who beats the crap out of her. As the story unfolds and wounds heal, it heats up between Gabriel and Amy. It is pretty intense and very touching. Great story but not for people with abuse issues!

Awful. This book is just really bad, cheesy dialogue, heavy handed and contrived situations and.. and… a waste of my God damn time. Not really it’s like under 100 pages . But still not great.
I am as frustrated as this panda

Not great. This book was a little disappointing. The writing just wasn't up to the standard I have come to expect from my erotic writers. I am not as it appears to turn out into love affairs between 20 year old girls and 40 year old guys. I am sorry Sam but I want my cake and to eat it to.

I don’t think this author understands bdsm.

These books where she mentions the fetish or lifestyle aren’t even close to what bdsm is. If anything it’s bdsm lite. Barely.

Still, I really liked these characters and the story. While the editing still sucks(!) this author has a charm about her story telling that you get swept away in. The falling in love of her characters usually makes you feel you wish it was you.

Looking forward to the next book in the series.

The editing does suck monkey balls!! Fair warning.

What a disappointment. An other one “cured” from being a Sadist. I was expecting more from Sam Crescent.

This book was an improvement over the first two. Yay for you Ms. Crescent!!!

Ok, the citizens of Cape Falls are evil, narrow minded, bigots! How do you blame a woman for her husband beating her to a pulp? Jackholes!!

Poor Anna has just survived her evil, abusive asshole of a husband. She is able to survive with the help of the town sheriff, Gabriel.

In spite of the censorship of the citizens, Anna begins to build a better life for her kids and herself.

A big fat juicy hug to Gabriel, my hero!

I have never written a review but I had to this time. Just a suggestion please let a stranger read the book before you publish again they would be able to find all the mistakes. Trust me I am awful at spelling but if I can find mistakes it is really bad. Other than that it was ok.

This book was so good! Gabriel was such a stand up guy and cares about the people of Cape Falls. Amy had a hard life. I am enjoying this series by Sam Crescent. Sam never fails to deliver a really good book!!

I found this one more 'timid' than the first and the second for sure. Other than that it was quite good. I was actually more enthused about the ending and can't wait for installment number four!
