A pregnant girl in a yellow dress appears one day in Wolfram's Cabinet of Peculiarities. There's nothing specifically wrong with her, but there's also something not quite right. Wolfram, aka "The Illustrated Mannikin, World's Only Fully Tattooed Dwarf," seems to be the only one who notices, but the girl's pregnancy seems to be catching. And then there's the matter of the dead baby on the jar, that keeps insisting on talking.

Nicole Silver lives like a hermit on the edge of the woods, but haunts used bookstores like a wraith.
