Big deals and power suits was the life of Madeline Sayers. No love. No color. No life. Out of the ashes of a dying mothers' last request, she finds herself in the middle of nowhere.
Nowhere, Arizona, that is. On her simple quest to return an item, she finds herself stuck in the desert. Out in the blistering heat of the sun, she sees Devon. Although in her eyes, he is truly magnificent, she fears him. Will he make her tear down the walls that she had built around herself? The seduction is hot and the colors are bright in Nowhere, Arizona.
Absolutely loved this story, I smiled from the beginning all the way through to the ending. The mysterious spiritual Indian myth and legend will keep you glued to the pages and unable to put the book down. It totally captivated me with the strong will female character Madeline. I loved her tough act and how her tough attitude worked for her throughout her whole life until she went to the town “No Where” and found herself uncontrollably attracted to a man that was beyond her dreams.
Devon, wow, the man is absolutely divine, a spiritual god from a legend passed on to him from his ancestors before him. This sexy god knows immediately that Madeline must be his bride and boy let me tell you, the man’s sexual talent will have you screaming your own climax with some lite BDSM, smooth talking, magic fingers, and one huge boner guaranteed to make any woman sub come to his will. The positions he puts Madeline in are intense and ravaging (licking lips). The hypnotic rain pool and the horse ride along the cannon will forever stay in my head. Makes me want to go ride a pony myself – definitely a position I will have to try sometime – LOL
All the mysterious characters connections to each other was fascinating and I loved their secretive agenda with their marriage rituals and main intent to please their god and keep him around definitely added to the paranormal elements of ghostly spirits and mind reading. The authors writing talent is excellent as she brings these characters personalities to life on the page.
The Happy Ever After had me in awe but left me with wanting to know more answers about Devon and the rest of the town folks with their myths and legends. I’m totally addicted and look forward to reading more about the town of “No Where”. Leanore Elliott, you just gained a new fan.
Maddy arrives in Nowhere, Arizona with no idea that her whole life is about to change. Her career and making money is all that she knows. When she meets Devon, she discovers those things mean nothing at all. Devon awakens her soul and opens her eyes to the true wonderment of living.
This was a wonderfully unique story! It was magical and mystical with a smokin' hot spicy romance.
This novel bounces around like a 3 yr old after eating a bag of candy. It is an interesting story, but confusing. I know it is the first book of a series but I still don't know if Devon is real or not, and if he's not, is Taylor real? I kept waiting for the "South Fork" scene when you find out it's all a dream..... I see some 5 star reviews and wonder if I missed something.
I absolutely loved this book! Leanore Elliott grabbed my attention right from the first page and left me wanting more with each and every scene. Even though she didn't know it at the time, Maddie needed to be in Nowhere to find herself. She was all business, all of the time and basically forgot how to enjoy the simpler things in life, like the love of a hot Native American in the form of Devon. Sparks fly between them right from the start. The heat generated when they come together is as breathtaking as the scenery. You don't want to miss one second of their journey together and I definitely can't wait to read more from this author!
Talk about someone experiencing the ride of their life! Once again Leanore does not disappoint! Delightful characters and experiences written to absolute perfection!
So much to feel and experience within these pages that it's extremely difficult to put down even for a moment. It felt like not being able to pause a movie you thoroughly enjoying and you just cannot move because you don't want to miss what will happen next.
Madeline is a very strong, independent woman that goes through a dramatic life altering change. Within a short time span she experiences feelings, desires and many other things that she has yet to in her life. She goes to visit Rick in Nowhere Arizona and that's where and when it all changes.
Meet Devon, an amazingly attractive mysterious male that made Madeline's heart go pitter patter. He is very unpredictable and very delectable. He introduces a way to really live life to Madeline in a way that opens her eyes to what else is around her that she has yet to see. Is love possible for these two? You'll have to read away to find out and I'll tell you it is one of the most amazing story's of seduction that you will ever lay your eyes on!
So I just finished Reading "The Sunset Warrior ~ Nowhere Arizona." I initially began reading this book out of pure curiosity but found myself quickly sucked in by the underlying story as well as the mythology and folklore that it was tied to. Aside from the fact that the author's technical skill is excellent, I also found myself becoming attached to the primary characters. Not often do you find yourself emotionally invested in the characters portrayed in most romantic/erotic works, but in this case I was...for better or worse at times. Madeline takes an important voyage of self discovery that at times drove me insane as a man because she was so incredibly stubborn about it. However I can see women truly relating to Madeline and easily putting themselves in her place. On the other hand Devon was dark and fun at the same time. Women who like their leading men sexy, savvy, dangerous, and romantic have just hit the jackpot! If you are looking for sheer erotic escapism with a captivating story and beautifully drawn out vistas, I would highly recommend this book!
I have herd nothing but good things about this one. I found that it was true. I enjoyed reading this story so much that I was a bit upset when it ended “Pouts”. Yeah that is right I so did pout. Lol I love the Indian based story of a warrior. Everything about said read me and enjoy. The man of your dreams comes to be real but different all at the same time. Sexy plot with lot’s of twist that are to die for. beautiful places to have it tooken place. Sounds like a paradise to me. So if you’re looking to read something sexy and to fall in love with this is for you. Nevertheless, don’t le tit be said, you’ll be sad when it ends!!
Nowhere Arizona was a seductive page turner, giving the reader what they wanted and more. The character development was superb. The storyline was far from what I expected leaving me hungry for its sequal: Gateway to the Sun.
Sunset Warrior is the first book in the Nowhere, Arizona series and I thought it was a great read. The storyline is a little confusing at the beginning but it quickly progresses and was very captivating to the point that I couldn't stop reading because I had to find out what happened next. You may not realize at first that this is a highly erotic paranormal romance because it does not center around your atypical shifter or vampire tale. This one actually centers around Native America folklore and the mysterious happenings behind it. The book has great characters in Madeline and Devon. Maddy is a strong willed, all business city type that seems void of emotions at the beginning. The death of her mother brings her on a quest to deliver a mysterious box to Nowhere, Arizona in the middle of, well, nowhere. There she meets the mysterious and extremely handsome Devon. He is a very soft spoken man who seems to appear out of nowhere when Maddy finds herself in trouble and disappears just as quickly. One minute he's there and the next he's gone. The chemistry is definitely undeniable between the two from their very first meeting. I'm really looking forward to the continuation of this story as it does end on a cliffhanger. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review.
Madeline is a power broker in the city. When her mother dies, she is left with a last request to return a box to the man who is her father in Arizona. While there she meets Devon, who she is attracted to. She does not want to be, but circumstances show her other sides to Devon. Who is the real Devon? Is he as attracted to her?
I liked this story. It is a bit confusing as the story goes from present day to the past and also from Nowhere, Arizona in the present day to secret places also in the present day. Madeline is as confused as I was. There is a paranormal element to the story which I liked. When Madeline is given a book of legends about the indigenous people of the area, she starts to understand. She wants answers as did I. I think I have the next book in the series. I have many questions as does Madeline. I hope that book answers them. If not, I hope I can track down any other books that belong to the series. I want answers!
There is a heads up at the beginning that this is a highly erotic romance and why yes it is, but its also a bloody good read! You do have to keep in mind when you start reading that this is also a Paranormal Romance so it may feel a bit disjointed to begin with, but once you get into it you get use to it and understand the flow of the story and well then you don't stop until you finish the book . Great characters with Madeline usually being in control of her life, but then it spinning out of her control when she gets to Nowhere, Dev who.. well he is just a mystery, poor Rick who gave up love out of loyalty and then the lovely Jasp, Bucky and Jinx. I can not wait to read book 2 and finding out more in regards to Taylor and Devs relationship.
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.
Was given this ARC free to leave an honest review Madeline has a high power job ,Taylor is her co worker and fancies her. Maddie's mom's dying and her last wish is that she do her one thing, maddy agrees to do it. After her mother has died she has been left a letter with instructions as what to do, inside this letter maddy finds out about something. She ends up going to a place called Nowhere in Arizona where she meets some very interesting people. One in particular Devon and he is something else. The story takes on a whole new life from here. Its a good read. Loved the story from start to finish.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book for my honest opinions.
Having never read this author before, I wasn't really sure what to expect, but I have to say that I was quite impressed with Sunset Warrior. The story was much more than I could think of. It was an amazing read and very well written.
The twists and turns only gave it an edge. It has drama, passion, emotions, lots of chemistry and steamy hot scenes. All that makes a great story which is captivating and flows well. The main characters are very well described. Madeline and Devon develop a lot in this story. I am sure you will love it too.
This is book 1 in the NOWHERE ARIZONA and that's exactly where Madeline finds herself - in the middle of nowhere, in a town called Nowhere. A simple trip to return something and before she knows it she finds herself lost in the Arizona desert. This was an interesting book but confusing at times due to all the spiritual and Indian folklore. Madeline was a strong woman who completely changed when she met Devon. It was amazing. The man of her dreams. A romantic paranormal. I received an advance copy and voluntarily chose to review it.
This story had a mystic feel to it. I liked the characters. They were unusual just like the story. The whole story had potential. Unfortunately I had a hard time following along. The story seemed a little jumpy. The flow just wasn’t there for me. I would have like to have more of Madeline’s thoughts to smooth the transitions of all the strange things happening. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
Fabulous read. A true paranormal erotic love story With twist and turns that keep you turning the page. Absolutely loved the unique storyline. It takes you places we all need to journey so we remember love conquers all.
This is an intense book filled with questions and some answers for Madeline. I enjoyed the writing. I was thoroughly pulled into Maddie's emotions especially her confusion at the situation she finds herself in. I'm definitely reading the next book!
Another amazing book. I was blown away with the story, I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong characters. I want more.....I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
A unique and erotic read that will leave you wanting more .... Warning: Do NOT read in public. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy via Butterfly Publishing House.
Maddy is my kind of girl!! Focused and disciplined, she could close a deal in the blink of an eye!! Raised by an artist, Maddy turned her back on that lifestyle to instead focus on ways to keep her in the best that money has to offer. She has buried every single emotion that she has dubbed as weak, and focused instead on rising to the top in her chosen profession. What she doesn't count on is being turned inside out by one man...at least she thinks he's a man.
Dev had been waiting for Maddy for so long, he almost had given up hope that she would come. But nothing would deny him what was his, not even the layers of ice Maddy had wrapped her heart in soul in. Through his fire and taming, a new woman would be born. But could he remain whole long enough to finish claiming her?
This is Maddy's story. This is her journey not only to find herself, but to discover what life is all about. Without color and beauty, the world would be such a desolate place. But until her eyes are truly opened, she does not notice all that she is missing. I really connected with her character. Life has a way of making us hard and afraid to show anyone any emotion that may be used against them later as a weakness. Because of her chosen profession, Maddy had no choice but to lose all feeling or she would set herself up for failure. Life isn't all about winning, and somethings you do win weren't really worth the battle and effort. Sometimes it takes walking outside of all of your comfort zones to truly be happy. LOL...Maddy found that out through some amazingly erotic moments when her gentle warrior turned into something else completely. It seems you cant live that long without developing different personalities. Which was good for Maddy. She couldn't put Dev in one certain box and slap him with a nice label. But will she be enough to hold him to earth? I really enjoy Leanore's work. She has a way of writing that would make somewhere like Nowhere sound erotic and exciting!! I can't wait for the next addition!!

Who wouldn’t want their own mysterious, very sexy Indian? Did I happen to mention that he was a spiritual God and very hot? And the things he could do to you….
Little did Maddy know her self-composed world in which she was focused on her job, money and knowing what she wanted out of life and how she was going to get their was about to change.
Sometimes you try in life to get away from your past and end up right back where you started. Maddy was raised by a family of artists. Yet somewhere along the way she decided she needed to be focused because she wanted more. She felt that she could obtain that with money. That is until she met hunky Devon – a spiritual Indian God. Soon all reason would fly out the window.
With her emotions hidden she suddenly becomes awakened from the sleepy ho-hum existence and finds she is on a journey of self-discovery with none other than Devon as her guide.
Devon awakens a lust for life in Maddy along with a lust for life. Fire and passion soon follow showing her the color and beauty of life; how to look outside the box bringing her out of her comfort zone.
Devon sees Maddy knowing she will be his bride. He wants her.
Ms. Elliott heats up the pages as she takes us on a journey through mythology and Indian folklore. The sex is steamy…especially the lightening/rain pool. Enough said there I wouldn’t want to spoil your trip. I can say I wouldn’t mind one in my backyard. HOT! HOT! HOT! Did I forget to mention the horseback ride through the canyon?
Hypnotic, Sensual and oh so very Sexy. Chemistry from the start.
If you believe in love at first sight you might want to pick up your copy of Sunset Warrior in the Nowhere Arizona series. You might just believe that you can travel to Nowhere and find that you are Someone.
What can I say? I loved all aspects of this book. The scenes that MS. ELLIOTT wrote describing various parts of Arizona in her book NOWHERE, ARIZONA: THE SUNSET WARRIOR were so well written, they carried me off and I was actually able to see these beautiful places in my head. I've lived in Arizona my whole life and never has anyone come so close to describing its harsh beauty, vivid colors and the feeling of a deep rooted lore and legend that you actually feel while walking the land so brilliantly.
Madeline Sayers is not a character I would normally like. She is lost in the corporate world and nothing else matters to her. By the end of the book, I found myself rooting for this woman to become a whole person, to feel love, to give love.
This book is erotica. I must say, you just never know what you are going to get when you pick up a book labeled erotica. There were several steamy scenes in this book that were beautifully written, some even entwined lore and legend in them. Whew! HOT! HOT! HOT! This is NOT your average erotica. Arizona is a place well known for our treasure hunts, i.e. the Superstition Mountain's Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine. I say, "Screw the gold. I'm going to find that Lightening Pool!" Read the story and you'll know why! You will not be disappointed!
I have the second in this series downloaded on my Kindle, and I just can't wait to get to it!
I wasn't sure what to expect when I started this book besides is being hot and full of sex but let me tell you I was not disappointed. A sexy warrior is in search for a bride, which he finds. Madeline is looking for her father in Nowhere, after her Mom dies. My favorite part that had me covering my mouth so I did not wake up my family, was when Madeline was riding Dev on the horse and he says, "What? You've never ridden before?" I have been on a horse before but I must try it again to see what I am missing and if it really can be done. I look forward to the next book.
Am I missing something? I don't understand half of the ratings. I will admit that the author did a great job with this story, but reading the book on my kindle it did not go so well. The formatting was all over the place. There was spelling and grammar issues throughout the book and when I look at the title on my kindle it says Nowhere Arizaon. I don't need to say anymore. The book could have flowed better to help the readers to follow it. I only kept reading because I believed that outside of the errors it was a good story.
This was a great story. I really liked the mystical elements, which kept me on my toes trying to figure out what was going on at times, but it never lost my interest. Maddy and Dev were perfect for each other and their chemistry SIZZLED! Can't wait to read the sequel.
