I loved this book! There were a lot of unexpected surprises (I know that's redundant, lol). But this story took the series in a different direction that I wasn't expecting. While we finally see Ramiel find someone, she is pulled from his arms by the Prophecy of Idolas, which has fated her to mate with his brother-in-arms and fellow Son, Thane.

Blood Prophecy Gabrielle Bisset I Am Everything you Fear I Am Vampire

I was introduced to Gabrielle Bisset’s work through a facebook book group I was in. I was looking for a good read and the Sons of Navarus came highly recommended. I have to be perfectly honest with you I have a tendency when reading a series to continue nonstop so it’s like one huge book. I can’t tell you where one ends and the other starts. That’s a sign of a truly good read. The story line is so intense you just can’t put it down.

I promised myself I would definitely review Blood Prophecy. I just feel Gabrielle Bisset deserves kudos for her work.

In my opinion (and I’m just a reader) Blood Prophecy is the beginning of the Sons war with the Archons who want to control the Vampire population and do away with the Sons. It is up to the chosen Thane and Ramiel to find certain people and the key to cracking the Idolas Prophecy. I don’t like using the word cracking let’s say understanding and solving the prophecy. After months Kali, Thane and Ramiel (who really wasn’t much help) working the ancient scrolls and Kali trying to decipher and make sense of everything they feel they have enough of the clues figured out. Blood Prophecy takes Thane and Ramiel in search of a child, an old vampire and a key. While Ramiel and Thane are in search of the Key to the Prophecy Vasilije orchestrates a plan to pull the Dragons and Werewolves into an alliance to help fight against the Archons. Ramiel and Thane’s first destination is to find Tarquin who was believed to have more of the phrophecy deciphered then them. Okay I have to give up a spoiler here, when they find Tarquin the hunters have gotten to him first and murdered him. Not staking him but decapitating him so his body would be left for the Sons as a message. As the quest progresses they find the child (a born vampire not created) Noele (another spoiler) who is supposed to be 5 years old but because she is a born vampire her aging is accelerated so she has the body and mind of an adult. Noele is the first female who breaks down the iron barrier around Ramiel’s heart. No give aways here. Sasa betrays Vasilije big time crushing his heart and soul in a way he never thought possible. One of the Sons is killed by the hunters; the prophecy reveals another son (not Ramiel) has to impregnate Noele. This is revealed after she’s fallen in love with Ramiel and vice versa. Declan’s (Saint) wife is kidnapped by the Order Marc Verrater who is obsessed with her blood and her. He wants to duplicate her blood (like a feel good addicting drug) so he can control the vampire population and rise to power. He’s a sadistic bastard. Then we see Magistrate Consera meeting with Marc Verrater regarding the synthetic blood and mass producing and marketing it. I have a really really sick feeling that Kali’s sire is the Magistrate Consera (she’s missing) because of something he said in the meeting. But I guess I need to wait and see where Gabrielle takes this. A baby is conceived, the dead Son (not giving up the name) ends up in the Underworld, and Hades reveals his plan with the Archons and the Prophecy. A new character is introduced Nyx, Goddess of the Night. Appears to be with Hades.
There is so much emotion in this story and the different unexpected twists the reader will have a difficult time putting it down. This is what I found with the entire series.
Gabrielle has a way of writing back story within the main plot that doesn’t make the reader feel like its jumping around. Everything has a purpose for being told and blends perfectly. Gabrielle I give your entire series 5* and I plan to re-read slower this time. I can’t wait for the next installment “Blood Craving” to be released.

Not what you expect

Trigger warning due to non-consensual sexuality situations.
So much happens in this addition to the story beyond the newest romance the story moves along with more twist for all the characters. Most of them bad. I did enjoy the two shorts at the end. I am a little upset with all the cheating that seems to happen in this series. Sites e does need to be read in order as they build on one another.

Amazing

I can’t for the life of me think why more readers are not reading this series. It is a great paranormal series of vampires and sex. Who could not fall in love with the Sons? If you haven’t read them, grab it now.

: BLOOD PROPHECY is the fourth installment in Gabrielle Bisset’s Sons of Navarus paranormal series that furthers the storyline surrounding the Prophecy of Idolas, the hunt for the Key, and the battle between the Sons of Navarus and the Archons. Blood Prophecy is Ramiel and Noele’s story but it also encompasses plenty of background information and history as well as a little more about Thane.

As this is Ramiel’s story, we are privy to his early years as a Visigoth during the Roman uprisings, viewed through dream sequences, memory and recollections. We learn that his childhood was not all roses and sunshine. And Thane’s early years as a nobleman in the English countryside is only matched by Ramiel’s visions of Tudor England through the eyes of television and movies.

Gabrielle Bisset’s vampires are both emotional and colorful. Ancient vampires, each with a history and story, are pulled together to prevent the end of their species at the hands of the Sons of Navarus nemesis-the Archons. But true to form, the evil Archons always seem to be one step ahead of the Sons. As the Prophecy of Idolas is slowly deciphered, the Sons attempt to discover and locate the ‘who and why’ of the ancient scripts. Fate has a way of grinding reality to a halt when betrayal and hatred; love and loss; faith and hope pull the Sons together in an attempt to save one of their own-but they may be too late.

There is a secondary storyline running throughout the series: Vasilije, as the self-appointed head of the Sons of Navrus, remains a vampire of questionable integrity as it pertains to the vampires he sires and Sasa (the woman he claims to love) in particular. The novella THE DEEPEST CUT furthers Sasa, Vasilije and Thane’s storyline (released December 2012) and the continued animosity between these three is addressed again in Blood Prophecy. Betrayal, heartbreak and the disillusion of a relationship are difficult but probably inevitable, although one that I hope will see a different resolution in the future.

Gabrielle Bisset is not afraid to address controversy in her storylines: death, betrayal, unrequited love, addiction and infidelity are all part of the reality of vampire life. Her heroes and heroines are not perfect; they are fallible and broken and, because they were all human in a previous life, their troubled emotions and characterstics still retain some definite human qualities. Blood Prophecy is a well-written, detailed and emotional storyline that fans of the series will definitely not want to miss. Gabrielle Bisset takes the vampire genre and puts a twist on the storyline that is all her own.

Ramiel and Thane have been dispatched on a mission to find the only “born vampire”, the key that the Prophecy of Idolas states the Sons of Navarus need to defeat the Archons. They are both surprised to find that the born vampire is in fact a beautiful, strong young woman who has grown up knowing that her destiny is to save vampire-kind. Ramiel feels like he has never been fully in control of his destiny, and even the crazy possibility that he or Thane need to sleep with Noele to fulfill the prophecy makes him more comfortable with where his life is at.

Noele has grown into a woman over the short five years of her life, and the possibility that she will now get to see more of the world with the Sons of Navarus is more exciting than she ever dreamed. She knows that it is her destiny to mate with one of the Sons, and if she has her way, it will be with the brooding Visigoth Ramiel.

Drawn together, Noele, Ramiel and the other Sons work towards the impending showdown with the Archons, but a cruel twist of fate and betrayal may end the war before it ever really begins.

This is the book I have been waiting for in the Sons of Navarus series. There was an amazing amount of development in the overall plot. Blood Prophecy moves swiftly, introducing new characters and real consequences from the war with Archons. There are some truly heart-breaking moments in Blood Prophecy that will definitely form the rest of the series, and I can only hope that the next entry in the series is as gripping as Blood Prophecy.

Ramiel and Noele’s relationship develops just as fast as the previous couples’ highlighted in the series, but I feel they have one of the largest hurdles to overcome. I love that they are willing to talk to one another when things are not perfect.

Another highlight of Blood Prophecy is that Bisset actually spends a good deal of time checking in with the various Sons, and we see them all making progress on the Prophecy of Idolas. There is some resolution to the issue that Vasilije, Sasa, and Thane found themselves in and I for one was totally surprised where that went.

I still feel there are a few too many sex scenes—I am at the point where I generally skim over them—however, the beefed-up storyline, some truly life altering events, and one fairly awesome twist near the end make me glad I have stuck with this series.

Darkly delicious, sensual and seductive this unique take on Vampirism is quite captivating.

Steamy romance combined with fast-paced action and blood-lust makes this novel somewhat distinctive as to stand-out. The ‘Sons of Navarus’ series is excitingly erotic set within a magical world of immortal beings and eye-catching women, which gets your pulse racing after only a few pages. Magnetically drawn into a compelling mystery this tale captured my imagination, as I lost myself within a darkly sinister supernatural story of sheer originality. Full of surprises this story keeps you guessing throughout, and what I concider to be a fantastic discovery within the paranormal romance genre.

I am everything
You fear
I am VAMPIRE

Sons of Navarus ~ descended from Gods, only they can save the Vampire world.

In book 4 of this 7 volume series, one encounters ancient prophecies and great God’s watching over the world. It is the Vampires duty to protect their kind from evil and in this novel you glimpse how loyal each character is, and the harsh consequences of their actions. It is a tale of treachery, betrayal and of fighting for what you believe in. Interwoven amid the fervent passion is much meaning and truth-drawing prose that highlights good versus evil, and those tough choices we all have to make in life. Blood-bonds and family is so important and in the Vampire world the brothers bond is strong…yet, it is tested when they oppose the Archons.

Character-driven and intensely gripping this nail-biting read was simply spellbinding, for it exceeded all my expectations. What I loved was how the author really ‘gets under the skin’ of each of the sons, so as to reveal in-depth their past lives and loves which makes it so much more convincing. Vasilije is such an intense character and when placed in such a beautifully written story, you cannot help but be drawn into this hypnotizing world. At times violent and quite graphic and set against the New Orleans backdrop, I felt it was reminiscent of ‘Fifty shades of Grey’ (or) ‘Vampire Diaries’ merged together with a sprinkling of sublime singularity.

I absolutely adore ALL of the sons! I still do not have a favorite even at this point in the series. It’s way too hard to choose among all of the delicious alpha hottie vamps. One thing I do know for sure is any and all fans of the genre will LOVE indulging in Blood Prophecy, actually I feel that way about the entire series. It’s so exciting, sensual, romantic and mysterious you’ll find yourself instantly addicted. I know I’m already growing impatient for the next one!

Even though this is Ramiel’s story. There’s a lot going on within this addition to the series. There’s Ramiel and Noele, Hadrian and Sasa, Vasilije and much more. We get to find out a lot more of what makes Ramiel…Ramiel through flashbacks of time. His upbringing, life experiences, feelings and emotions. We get some of Thane’s back story as well which I truly enjoyed (I do so love him, but shhh). We also have a bit of a roller coaster ride going on in Vasilije’s life. I really cannot say much without giving things away and I don’t want to do that. Just be prepared to be addicted!

Gabrielle created an awesome world for us to enjoy with the Sons series. I even found myself needing a tissue with this one. One thing I’ve learned as I’ve read each book. ALWAYS be prepared for surprises because you’re definitely going to get them! The author also wrote this so well it can be read as a stand-alone. But I truly recommend experiencing the entire series. There’s so much to it!

This one is a keeper…HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for fans of paranormal romances.

Anyone who has yet to experience (read) the Sons of Navarus series by Gabrielle is missing out. I have read so many paranormal vampire romance novels that nothing seems to shock me anymore. However, this author’s entire writing style is distinctive. She does not just toss in a couple of interesting new concepts with a well-worn plot and call it original. She has an unsurpassed ability to take a decent plot twist and manipulate it quite skillfully – generating revelations that are impossible to see coming.

As a reader, I thought, “Where does she come up with the stuff?” This entire book from page one, until the epilogue, is an emotional funhouse. I cannot say this is my favorite installment (because it would be easier to pick a favorite donut); each offers something superbly special and the series would not be the same with even a missing chapter. Noele is my preferred type of female protagonist; she is independent, strong, and loyal. Also, the author did an incredible job of pulling the secondary characters into the spotlight without shadowing neither Noele nor Ramiel.

Disclosure: This book was provided to me free of charge for the sole purpose of an honest review. All thoughts, comments, and ratings are my own.

Blood Prophecy: Sons Of Navarus Book 4

All I can say after reading Blood Prophecy is just... WOW.

Gabrielle Bisset has done it again. If you haven't had the pleasure of reading her Sons Of Navarus Series, then you should go pick it up right now.

Blood Prophecy is a turning point in this series. This story took me on an emotional rollercaoaster from the minute I opened it, until I read the last word. Ramiel & Noele's story is fascinating. I thought Noele was a perfect match for Ramiel. She is strong willed, loyal, and can stand on her own. I was very happy with how their relationship progressed through this book.

I love how this series is character driven, the emotions leap off the page. The characters keep you coming back for more. NO WEAK PLOT HERE!
Ms. Bisset keeps you on your toes in this series, their are plot twist you will never see coming.

Again. If you Aren't reading the SONS OF NAVARUS SERIES, you should be. You don't have to be a fan of Vampire Novels to enjoy this series. The plot, mystery, writing style, and characters are enough to keep you coming back for more.

I usually summarize a book in a review but there are so many pertinent things that happen in this book I don’t want to give anything away. This is definitely a pivotal point in the Sons of Navarus series and totally leaves you wanting more!

I fell in love, laughed, worried and cried. This is Ramiel’s story but you also get a good amount of the other Sons and what is going on with them as well. As always Gabrielle Bisset delivers a very well written novel with a vivid story world and exciting, enticing characters. You can relate to the characters on an emotional level on the challenges that they face as they take you through the journey of the Sons quest to defeat the Archons.

Ms. Bisset takes the story of the Sons of Navarus to a whole new level in this book and I cannot wait to read where the story goes from here.

I highly recommend the Sons of Navarus series, they have all been great reads but Blood Prophecy is now my most favorite book in the series. I give Blood Prophecy 5 stars!

Bravo Grabrielle Bisset for a job well done!

Blood Prophecy, the fourth book in the Sons of Navarus series, surpassed all of my expectations. It is a riveting read, filled with death, betrayal, sorrow, anger, steamy romance and enough twist and turns, you will think you have been on a roller coaster ride. As Thane and Ramiel, the two Sons chosen to figure out the Prophecy of Idolas, set out to find the key to defeating the Archons, they meet up with a born vampire named Noele. While the three of them are in search of this key, the war between the Sons and the Archons, is reaching new heights. It is almost as if the Archons know what the Sons are doing at every turn. But be prepared this book will keep you on the edge of your seat, I couldn't read it fast enough, even when the unbelievable happened. So much went on in this book, and yet so much still has to be resolved. I must say that Vasilije stole my heart in this book, and I cannot wait for the next book in this series. Kudos to Gabrielle Bisset, your vampires are now my vampires too!!
A very well deserved five stars for this entire series!!

Full Review posted on Book Lovin' Mamas

I knew I was warned before I read this book to be prepared for something different...and I definitely should have had the tissues ready...but I did not listen.

After reading Blood Prophecy, I now have a second favorite son, Thane. He stole my heart in this story. Do not get me wrong, I like Ramiel...but Thane stole a piece of my heart. I am still a big fan of Saint..and this story made me cry for him too.

Gabrielle is one of my favorite indie authors, and this book did me in..and I adore her for it. Here's hoping I remember to have the tissues for the next book.

I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. This review is my own opinion, and I was not influenced in any way or compensated.

What a great addition to the series. This one had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happened next. I was glad to see Ramiel have something he could grab on to and hold, and Noele was just perfect for him. Even through their struggles they managed to keep themselves grounded which was wonderful to see. I was extremely saddened by one part of the book, it broke my heart, ah but no spoilers you'll have to read it to find out!! I am greatly anticipating the next books in this series. I have such a great fondness for many of these characters and look forward to continuing their journeys.
I really want to applaud Ms. Bisset for keeping the previous couples and characters in the forefront in her series, I like the continued updates and interactions. I like that its a continuously moving forward series that doesn't leave any characters behind.

The 4th book in this exciting series lived up to all my expectations.

“ Things are never going to be the same.”

Ramiel the bad boy is another wonderful hero for us all to fall in love with.

I was really excited to read about all the new characters Gabrielle Bisset introduced us to, and the longer story line.

Love, very sensually done. Adventure. The dreaded Archons( I do hate their vile villian of a leader). Exciting locations and heartbreaking scenes, (tissues are required) all combined to make this an absolutely must read.

Can't wait to see what adventure Gabrielle takes us on in Blood Cravings

This was the best addition to the series that I have read to date. I loved all the different story lines going on between its covers, how it built the different obstacles for The Sons going forward, and truly painted the problem they faced in this war so far. The author throws us many surprises in this book, some shocking, and I have to say, it will be interesting to see what Blood Craving, the next book, will do with the series from here.

This author writes well enough but I can't help but compare most vampire series to J.R Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I just don't get sucked into the world created in the Sons of Navarus. I have read up through book 4 and I think that I'm done. I got all of the stories in the book sets and thought that I would like them more than I did by all of the 5 star reviews. Maybe the stories are okay for someone else but I just felt that they were lacking something.

WOW! Ms. Bisset wasn't lying when she said things would change forever. What a book, I was so drawn into this world I had a hard time putting it down. So much happened with the characters we have grown to love, my poor Declan(Saint) to name one. I was very upset by the events that took place in this book but I have to say I loved every moment and I can't wait for the next one in this series.

Another fantastic book by Gabrielle Bisset. I think this one is my favorite by far and maybe that is because it had more of my favorite character Thane than any of the rest of the books. I laughed and I cried and even got mad at some of the characters but I honestly believe if you can not feel emotions of the story what good is the story.....Well done again Ms. Bisset!

This book was heart breaking for me. I won't give anything away but I was just torn up. Ramiele was the last one I thought I would see with someone but he found someone and even though the fates had something else for him and Noele they are fighting.

I didn't see when the next book is coming out..if anyone knows please tell me because there are a lot of open ended stories with everyone!!
