Take one Hollywood heart throb, throw in the pot one gorgeously stunning woman and what do you get when you stir it all around?

I'm bias when it comes to Z Stefani. I've followed her work since late 2007, when I first discovered her work on literotica. Why? Well.. She writes:
• virgin heroines who only have sex with the hero - which I LOVE and prefer. This is a rarity in erotica, so all the more reason why Z Stefani deserves my support.
• hot and possessive heroes
• cat and dog heroine and hero relationship

I first read this story there, but it is under a different title and the characters names are differently, the hero's name was Aries (unique right?) and heroine's name was Mimi. Aries, or Know as he's known in the published version isn't as possessive or as dominant as Z Stefani's other heroes, but I loved him.

The prologue doesn't do the story justice, but basically the story consists of a jaded Celebrity who moves and takes on a new persona, who the heroine falls for. This is all mixed in with some suspense and yada yada.

I tried really hard to hold off on reading this book. I am a huge fan of Z Stefani and did not want to read this book unless I had another one of her books available. Anyway I finally gave in and I'm glad I did. The H was to die for; possessive, jealous, crazy in love, alpha male. The story is also great. The H is a famous actor who decides to leave everything and disappear to live as someone else. He meets the h and finds love but his old life may cost in his new found happiness. I liked how the other characters cared about the H and h's relationship and went out of their way to give them a happy ending.

This book was really strange. I liked the premise and the characters, but the writing style so was choppy and disconnected. It jumped around constantly. There were TONS of characters in this book and as soon as I got into their story- it would end and switch.

There were also TONS of grammatical errors, which I could get past ordinarily, but for example the constant misuse of Jake vs. Knox drove me crazy! Even the character's names were spelled wrong consistently! Which is just poor editing in my opinion.

I think the book had a lot of potential and it was super steamy and parts were really enjoyable, however, it just needed a good overhaul and some editing to make it really great.

This is the third book I have read from this author & I have loved them all!! (Insufferable Proximity is STILL my favorite) By now I have come to expect certain things in her books. The Heros are hott, sexy, jealous, possessive yet sweet uber-alpha males. The heroines are feisty hellcat ball-busters who know when to bend ;) awesome secondary characters, oh & her characters names are the freakin BEST!! Intriguing plot with lots of twists, suspense & drama. Hellacious villains. And best of all, steamy Smokin Hott sheet action...and Desks...and Chairs...and various other creative locations **drooling...lots & lots of drooling, panting, blushing & giggles** I LOVE IT!!!

'Love was for the suicidal, the gluttons for punishment, the foolish, and the unlucky!
"F**k love, and f**k luck" she spat. Love was an exaggerated infection of the heart, and Luck was dead!'

Knox Stone is the ultra-famous movie star sick of living in the limelight & ready for a break. So he dons a disguise & disappears.
Scarlett Sweet has just lost everything in a fire & is now forced to rebuild her life from scratch when she meets Knox, who almost runs her over with his car! Only Scarlett doesn't know he's the famous movie star on the run. She only knows him as Jake, the one & only man she has ever fallen in love with. Knox never realized what his life was missing til he fell for Scarlett. Nobody has ever wanted or needed him just for him & not for his fame or money before. He's afraid of what will happen when he tells her of his true identity & she realizes he's been lying to her all along, no matter the reasons behind it. But you can only hide from the truth for so long & when everything comes to light it's so much worse than Knox feared & both their lives are changed forever. When Knox's life catches up to them a series of explosive events really put these two to the test. How many hits can a relationship take before it crumbles? You will have to read it to find out. But trust me when I say you want to!!
