My life took me on the highest of highs. Finding my husband and having our son were the best things to ever happen to me. My future was written in the stars, and my life was everything I ever thought it would be. Then, my life took me on the lowest of lows. Unexpectedly, everything changed. As people said, things could happen in a blink of an eye. Tragedy struck, and I found myself trying to rebuild a life I never thought I’d have to live.
Inexplicably, he walked into my path, shaking everything up, making me realize my life wasn’t over. He made me wonder if lightning could strike in a bottle twice and if there was a chance that I could find the love of my life twice.

Under no circumstances would I have ever thought there could be someone who I would meet and know she was my forever as soon as she crossed my path until her. WOW!!! What a beautiful and poignant story…M&M were so good 😊
Man 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ this story right there was so beautiful yet very poignant. I mean grief is a bad person yet very real, and this story had it in spade.
Monet was doing great but in one swipe she lost everything and gained grief as her long lost companion. She couldn’t shake it as much as she wanted to until Maxwell came through. It was a little bit annoying and frustrating to see how Monet was acting when she had a wonderful man bending backwards but through MS. Williams penmanship it flowed so well, the compassion, the understanding, the unwavering faith and strength that both characters had. One was trying to get out of the abyss while the other was falling in to be of help whenever it was asked upon.
Max was perfect; and this story happened to show that there is a possibility of having two soul mate, as long as god is the one planning and driving this thing called life. That’s what Monet had and I am here for it. So glad all was on the positive for Cass and Cedric and hopefully Rayna will be with Kane (hint, hint!!!). Mama bear was so hilarious 🤣 but I wish we had interaction with Max’s side and Monet; at least the first meet should’ve been written about it.
In any case I must say that although it was a good story, it was a little bit too poignant which can make one not push through the finish line, but I will implore you to push through because you will not regret it!!!!

Love after loss
This was such a beautiful story. My heart broke for monet. Her meeting max was God's timing and the fact that she had two good men that loved her unconditionally was just wow. I won't even get started on the mess that was her friend Case and her husband. Just ghetto..
While the story was beautiful, I will say that there are several editing errors to include the incorrect names, pronouns and words that are just out of place. They are easy to get past but just know they are there.

This book is the most realistic ever!
Anytime I read a Renee Williams book I don't want them to end and this book is no exception. It felt like everything in this book could have been someone's real life experiences. So glad that Monet found love with Max after everything she had been through. Max was perfect for her. The flow of the story, the way the characters talk and interact with each other and the storyline made it seem as if was witnessing events of everyday life. Renee, I love you stories and love, love, love your style of writing. Can't wait for your next book!

A love story that is haunting and devastating with a lot of emotional intensity. Monet suffers a tragic loss. Max enters her life unexpectedly and nothing will remain the same. A well defined storyline that takes you on a journey of healing, acceptance and recovery. In this book the characters are likable. We are shown the dynamics of a loving family, the bond of friendship, spiritual guidance and you will definitely chuckle, a lot. A second chance to love.

Beautiful
Ms. Williams knocked this one out of the park just like her other. Her books come with heartbreak that I literally can feel as I read these pages. I love how her books evoke such emotions and make it feel so real and this book all the feels. After such a heart, wrenching tragedy, Monet was able to find true love again with Max and what a man Max is. This was a true love story they came after heartbreak.

Always a great read ❤️
Renee Williams is easily one of my favorite reads. Interesting perspectives. Believable dialogue. Fascinating interconnections. This book in particular is a standalone story but I would recommend reading some of her earlier works so that you’re familiar with back stories for some of the associated characters. I stalk anything new from this author and re-read her stories often. You won’t be disappointed 💯

The tears started early on when tragedy struck. Not everyone grieves the same and there us no time limit on when your grief ends. For Monet...it took a while which is ok. I liked this book however I truly wished the book was edited, there were several grammatical errors throughout the book. You were still able to follow the story but simple errors should not have been rampant all through the book.

Great story!
I really enjoyed this story, and the characters were very entertaining. I loved the chemistry between Max and Monet, which was smoking 🔥 🥵 ! Monet 's journey was heartfelt, and it made her stronger . She deserved the love she received from Max. Max was the man! Cas and Cedric's story was a hot mess, but it helped you realize that Rape can happen to men as well. I highly recommend this book to my fellow romance readers. You will not be disappointed.

Heartbreaking but so good.
This author never fails. The first few pages in and you can feel the h's heartbreak. This book was so emotional. Editing and grammatical errors prevented a 5 Star rating. As the book progresses you feel the h's healing. Looking forward to the next book.

Great but somewhat messy
This is a wonderful love story. I was sad about the heroine's loss. I loved the first meet for Max and Monet. I'm happy Max identified his stalker tendency but he put the ball in Monet's court. I skipped over the best friend's martial messiness. I'm happy everything worked out but it lessened my interest in the rest of the story.

loved it!!!!!
Very good I love this writer. But the book touched on mental health that was so profound. The fact that we is Afro-American. Don’t go see someone for mental health was addressed very well and I like the fact that they said that it doesn’t go away overnight. Very well written book.

Amazing!
This was an amazing love story😍 It's hard to open your heart up after such devastating loss. But as always, God knows what's best. Thoroughly enjoy this story. Now, it would be nice to see a Kane and Rayna love match😊

Loved the story, but the lack of editing, grammatical errors, pronoun mixups was very distracting. editing removes errors, improves the flow, and enhances language and style!
