The Edwardses have done it again! Following the success of their classic Working from the Home, the noted home office experts here address the issue of how small businesses can attract customers. While other current titles on small and home-based businesses include chapters on marketing, advertising, public relations, direct mail, and sales promotion for the small and/or home-based business entrepreneur, none do it so well or so comprehensively as these authors. They offer tips on networking, media kits, news releases, radio and TV advertising, and other topics. ---Reed Business Information, Inc., commenting on the first edition
It is an very nice book. I don't consider that is very deep detailed "how-to", but it gives an "overview helicopter view" of many (or even all?) possibilities available to getting business to come to you.
The basics are there. Of course technology has changed and evolved, but I would say the basics and principles are on this book.
And is not only attached to America market, it can be applied to anywhere else, but, for sure, America is a more business sophisticated market. I recommend the book.
First written before the internet, this book covers all the non-internet elements of a small business. An important read for anyone interesting in starting or growing a business.
