This is an eye-opening (not to mention mind-opening!) little book. The topics are so varied--ayahuasca, chaos theory, interesting places like Coral Castle in Florida (been there!) Alaska and Peru...and the coolest book reviews ever. The fact that each chapter is only a few pages means you can just pick it up for a little mind candy in the middle of your day, or read on the bus. You can also read the chapters in any order you want. Buying several copies for holiday gifts!

A great read! For the Curious lives up to its title in that the author's curiosity piqued my own. The author goes to great lengths to capture each topic from the perspective of today's rational human being. Why? How? What the hell? Questions the author answers quite insightfully in this book.

A great collection of essays that some how all hang together. Sue is obviously quite smart, insightful and interested in big issues, but the really good part is she's funny, too.
Its a nice read, I enjoyed it and learned a few things along the way.
