27 books105 followersBy profession, I’m a technical writer, computer geek, and ex-interior designer. I’m good at two out of three of these things. I had the sense to quit the one I sucked at.
To deal with my mid-life crisis, I also write adventure novels featuring a middle-aged female protagonist, Aydan Kelly. And I kickbox.
This seemed more productive than indulging in more typical mid-life crisis activities like getting a divorce, buying a Harley Crossbones, and cruising across the country picking up men in sleazy bars. Especially since it’s winter most of the months of the year here.
It’s much more comfortable to sit at my computer. And hell, Harleys are expensive. Come to think of it, so are beer and gasoline.
Oh, and I still love my husband. There’s that. I’ll stick with the writing.

What I liked about the book:
I loved this book as much as I did the first four. Will Aidan meet her husband and find out what really happened?
What I didn’t like about the book:
There is nothing in the book I didn’t like.

Too many to count, I loved the book.

There were no least favourite bits. The book makes you want to read on and not stop after the next.

Henders/how spy am I
This story and series involved aydan, the bookkeeper who ends up i.nvolving in a network of spies known as the knights, who are hacking U.S. Gov't sensitive info. And selling them to other gov't intelligence that are our enemy that in the wrong hands would have severe consequences to our national security. She is trying to protect the agency and her team who all have contracts on them including herself. I enjoyed this series , it was intense, action packed.

Another action-packed thriller from Diane Henders. This time, Ayday goes off on her own and, of course, gets into a whole lot of trouble. Not much character development. After 5 books, the reader pretty much knows Aydan and Kane, although Kane is forcing himself to trust her more. The edge-of-your-seat action makes up for that. This feels like the end of the series, even though I know there are many more. I wonder what new trouble will find Aydan & Company.

I can't put this book down until the end. I can't wait to start reading the next book. What is going to happen next. I hope Diane Genders never stops writing this series. It is the best series I have read in a long time.

I am hooked on this series.
I have always been interested in spy stuff. This series has all the suspense and surprises to the point where I am probably going to be very disappointed when we run out of new books in the series!

Gripping
I could not put "How Spy I Am" down. Every one of the series is gripping and I love the characters. I still wonder if Ayden is the innocent civilian she professes to be!

How spy I am
Yup, still an excellent read. However I did get lost in the ghosts and exchange of memories but Aydan and her new identity was precious.

This particular book (#5) had some really difficult parts for me to manage through. I found myself riddled with heartache and sadness. I am finding Aydan Kelly a little too familiar. After getting over the same mind twisted guilt, I found myself hysterically filled with laughter. This lady has some serious guts and can keep up with the big boys even if she's fumbling and faking her way through it all. Love it!!

I checked How Spy I Am out from my local library. Real interesting developments in this latest installment of the Spy series. Some great plot reveals, and nice steady pacing. John is not my favorite love interest, so it's crazy to watch her angst as she tries to find a balance with the men in her life. A great story, and it was great to see a return to the tech portion of the plot line. This author knows how to spin a sub-plot

Thank goodness Aydan's husband was doing the right thing and that he loved her. I would have felt terrible if he had just been with her for his job. Yet again another great book filled with suspense, trickery, Aydan's ability to think on her feet and lots of wanting Kane and Aydan to get together again!

I liked the series to start. Lady in charge of herself, flawed, talented... "torn between 2 lovers"... but does each and every book have to prove how tough she is, sleep deprive her, get her tied up.. etc etc...
Great personalities in people she works with and cares about.. but like every series.. gets old.
I think this series would be more enjoyable to gamers that do the Sim thing..

This book was a little more convoluted and confusing in the overall plot, but still just as fantastic as the others. If you havent read the Never Say Spy series, you are missing out!
