I really liked this book. It sort of had that Stephanie Plum feel to it (series from Janet Evanovich which I really love). This book revolves around DJ/part time musician Jessie Adams who decides to help out a friend to save her bar from being rezoned by running for city council. But someone doesn't want her or several other candidates running for council. When she literally runs into police detective Chuck Jackson the mayhem begins (and murder???) and possibly romance. This book is a quick read and well worth it if you want something slightly lighter to read.
