This series finished really strong but like a broken record the editing let it down with typos being missed
I am so happy Kenna finally got her happily ever after, after all she has been through and that everything with sterling is now over and can stop torturing them
I also loved the babies name and the sentiment behind it at the end
This one was okay to me. Both Fynn and Kenna didn't leave much of an impression on me in previous books. Where I was desperate for Grayson and Ainsley's book, I was more meh about these 2 getting one. The book itself is kind of slow, but the 2 characters did grow on me. I think for me, my favorites will always be the HS ones, but I am glad we got stories for all the others. It was a nice wrap-up to some beloved characters.
I don’t even know where to begin other than to say: I’m devastated this world has ended. Six books, and I could easily devour another six. This series has been nothing short of phenomenal, and this final installment was a masterclass in closing out a story that has owned my heart from beginning to end.
Kenna and Fynn—what a powerful, emotional, and earned conclusion to a saga built on pain, strength, growth, and love. Kenna, like all the women in this series, rose from the ashes with fire in her soul. She didn’t just survive—she thrived. Every inch of her journey was rooted in resilience, and watching her fly was everything. She is the definition of a strong heroine, and I am obsessed.
And Fynn. Patient, brilliant, steady Fynn. He was strength wrapped in softness, intellect fused with unwavering heart. He stood by her, believed in her, and loved her exactly as she was. Their connection wasn’t just romantic—it was destiny. Together, they made sense in a way that felt fated and final, and I loved every second of it.
Now, let’s talk Sterling. There was a fleeting moment—a very small one—when I felt my heart tug for him. I even caught myself wishing, just briefly, that the story would twist, that maybe he wasn’t the villain, that he’d find redemption. But that moment passed. I understood his motivations, but in the end, he crossed the line, especially with Kenna. And from there, there was no going back.
This final book was a celebration of love, strength, and survival. It gave me closure, even if my heart aches now that it's over. This series will live rent-free in my heart for a long time. And to the author: thank you for giving us a world so vivid, so raw, and so real.
Kenna is one badass girl. She survived one jerk only to be the target of another... Sterling. The elite hit the beach for end of summer fun, and Fynn finally got his wish. He has been in love with Kenna for years, but could never act on it. But she asked him to teach her and he agreed. The elite are technically unaware of the bond between the two, because Grayson would probably have a fit. Stolen kisses, plans to spend time after the others leave. But Sterling starts messing with Kenna and the other girls by sending little gifts. Not a smart move on his part.
When they were finally alone, she discovered a secret Funny was keeping. Of course she had one too. An argument and a sudden separation. Then, Kenna disappeared. Funny and the elite are going crazy. You can imagine what happens next....but you would probably be wrong. Its a good story. The end of an era and the beginning of a new generation.
I absolutely loved the Elite's stories, and even more so, Fynn and Kenna's story! "Broken" takes a deep dive into Kenna's emotions and her journey of feeling broken. Kenna truly shines in this book, making it easy to both feel and understand her better. Fynn is equally amazing, with his protectiveness and thoughtfulness towards Kenna making him incredibly swoon-worthy! The ending is perfect and it left me feeling satisfied yet wanting more. Overall, I highly recommend this book and the whole series. Jennifer has a way of writing strong female characters and her writing style is always a page-turner.
A perfect ending to an amazing series. Fynn and Kenna’s story is a well crafted masterpiece of strength, resilience, courage, determination, protectiveness, love and kindness. Here we finally get an in depth view of who Kenna really is and her true depth of character that she displays to overcome her trauma. Fynn is every bit the leading man in Kenna’s world. I love how this author manages to capture her characters heart and souls perfectly and spins them into a read that completely captivates and immerses the reader. I wonderfully compliment and completion to one of my favorite series.
I was excited to see where the story was going g to go and how this was going to all end! I do feel like the story felt a little rushed in places as I don't feel as connected to fynn as some of the other characters and I was excited to see more of him but just wanted more.
Kenna is a great female character and it was good to finally see more of her and what has gone on in her life. Overall was a nice story and I kinda just wish it ended how it started as I'm a sicker for josie!
This is book 6 in the Elite of Elmwood Academy series and is about Kenna and Flynn. I loved Flynn from the start and I got to know more about Kenna and her backstory. She was a young confused girl when something traumatic happened to her and she was alone to deal with it. Filled with protectiveness, strength, tension, loyalty, courage, passion, determination, love and kindness. This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. I cannot wait for more from this author.
The conclusion to the series ended up being better than I expected. Getting the chance to dive into Kenna's mind has given me a chance to see that she is more like me than I thought. Fynn is so good I adore him. Seeing the story lines converge and end the way they did was beyond satisfying even if I don't want the series to end. I wonder if the author would ever do a next generation of the elite series (hint hint). Looking forward to trying more books by this author.
Kenna and Fynn is the long awaited book. I wanted to know more about Kenna story and her feelings. She was a young confused girl when something traumatic happened to her and she was alone to deal with it. Kenna turned into a strong woman and Fynn was waiting for the right time to show his feelings for her.
This was a good story showing how love can come after horrible experiences.
What an epic ride and amazing conclusion to the series rounding up all lose ends and characters HEA. Kenna and Fynn 's chemistry was off the chart and I loved how there story came about. This was another action packed read filled with tension, intense loyalty, passion and twists. A fantastic and gripping series.
Listen when I say that this series is the best that I've read this year,I absolutely mean it. Every book one after the other had me absolutely spellbound, great writing and I loved the fact that everybody in the elite got their own happy ending. 5 stars only because that's the most I can give.
I was so invested in each character and book in this series. I loved how even in book one, each character had a strong presence. So you didn’t have to just start with the new book and never have answers and closure for the main characters in the book before. The author gets two thumbs up for that. 5 GIANT stars. 💯 must read.
I’ve been waiting for Kenna’s story and I was not disappointed! Beautifully written and a memorable as the previous books! Weil really know how to pull you into a world and make you feel what the characters are feeling!
Finally we get Kenna and Fynn's book! These two have been circling around each other for quite a while and now we get their story. It was so worth the wait! I loved every word of this series and definitely recommend it to all.
This was so slow, it was boring until well over 60%! I had high hopes for this one, but it was a chore to finish. I just got sleepy 🙈 Until the end, like the last 25% was very good!! But overall disappointing, but I absolutely loved the other books of this series ❤️
definitely one of my favourite series. and a fantastic way to end it. would love to have a new series from the next generation like kelsie rae did with the dont let me/ a little series but love it even if it doesnt go further.
I loved Fynn from the beginning. Kenna grew on me however these two are perfect for each other. This was a great ending to the series and I'm sorry to see it end.
I love love love this book!! The characters pull you in! Being the 6th book in this series, I have gotten to known the characters and woth each book it just get better and better! Highly recommend!!
Kenna has been through a lot. Now, she has a stalker who wants her to join him and Fynn will do anything to help keep her safe. It’s time to take a chance and let his feelings be known. Will she feel the same way?
I will not give away anything, but this series was actually a great read. I am kinda sad it ended. Hopefully J.L Weil will come up with another Dark Collage Romance!
