Great story with characters I really cared about. Kaitlyn Strong is a rich, spoiled brat. For years, she's been empowered by her parents and four brothers to continue her shopping sprees and financially irresponsible behavior. When she goes to France and spends what amounts to a small house (on clothes and shoes), her family cuts her off and demands she start paying her own bills. She's forced to move out and get a job.
Enter her new landlord, Quinton Wells. When they first meet, she tries to treat him like her personal bell hop and servant. Quinton ain't having none of that. At first, he considers laying the "wham bam, thank you ma'am" treatment on her, but after a few encounters, he regards her as an airhead he wants to stay far away from.
Quint's teenage daughter takes a liking to Kaitlyn and her massive shoe collection that could fill a wall of bookcases. Over the course of a few months, Quint continually comes to Kaitlyn's rescue helping her repair things and get settled in her new digs. Kaitlyn gets a job and eventually, Quint begins to respect her new and improved attitude. The timing is perfect - Kaitlyn is tired of costly shopping sprees and parties, and Quint is ready to commit to a real woman.
This book had great sexual tension, impressive dialogue, and incredible chemistry between the characters. Pick it up. You'll be glad you did. And don't forget to check out Ms. Bryant's other "HOT" books about the men in the Strong Family. I'm reading HOT SPOT now.
