Good girls don’t wear fur, or fight over men, and they certainly don’t run around naked, howling at the moon.

But then, no-one ever called Fallon a good girl.

As a human unofficially mated to an Alpha werewolf, Fallon is being pressured to “become”...or be gone.

Her mate Aiden, the interim leader of the Olde Town Pack, is in a position that demands he either choose a wolf mate...or leave the pack forever. No matter how hot the sex with Fallon is, he can’t ignore centuries of tradition.

Become a wolf or not. If only the choice were that simple. Fallon’s options are further clouded by the overt presence of other females desperate to be the Alpha’s mate. And when these bitches get serious, it’s not just claws that come out. If Fallon wants to keep her man and take the title she’ll have to exert a little dominance of her own.

Oh Salidas never disappoints. It really says a lot about an author to make a book this exciting in less than 100 pages. I had a blast with this read. I love werewolves and this book is full of werewolves I will remember for a long time.

This book is a companion novella to Salidas Immortalis series. In this novella, we follow Alyssa's human best friend, Fallon and Fallon's werewolf lover, Aiden. They are so in love and would do anything for each other. But Fallon has a problem. Aiden is the Alpha and Fallon must decide whether she wants to become a werewolf or not. Aiden's pack won't accept Fallon since she is human and they won't respect a human Alpha female. Fallon has to choose between becoming a wolf (and risking possible death), breaking up with Aiden or Aiden leaving the pack altogether. Aiden has discovered members of his pack are willing to kill him and/or Fallon to get what they want. Fallon has to make a decision and fast before a potential war is started...all because of her.

I am a huge fan of Fallon and Aiden. They are amazing together and apart. I love that we got to follow Fallon. She felt very real to me. The way she reacts to certain situations is exactly how I would react. I love that even as a human, she has a backbone. I love her personality, she is saucy and funny. Her and Aiden play well off each other. They have wonderful chemistry and they are so sexy together. There scenes heat up the pages. Wow, those sex scenes were hot as hell. I love the villains in the book although I don't like that one of them is named Diana. Not cool Salidas, not cool! One character I definitely want more of is Aiden's brother, Brady. He was very mischievous and made me smile. I want more of him, he was a lot of fun.

I am just head over heels for this series. Salidas is a great writer. Like I said before, if you are a fan of Jeaniene Frost, you will love Salidas' work. The characters are worth rooting for. The plot is well paced and well written. I love the fights scenes and the sneakiness. And I love how Fallon handles both of them. Sadalis packs so much in this novella. There is so much tension, betrayal, suspense and much more and it never feel overwhelming. It is intense, but not overwhelming. If you have never read a book by Salidas, you need to get on It right now. You don't know what you are missing.

Favorite Lines “Oh, yeah. This is my happy place. Safe in Aiden’s arms, I felt like the world could go to hell and I’d still be okay. This is love, right?”

“I guess what bothers me is that I have to do it. It’s one thing if it was truly my choice. I’m sure I would eventually get over my fears and come around to the idea. But forcing me to do it now… it’s too much pressure. I’m scared, yes, but I’m also not ready for it.”

“You are my life. If you’d died, I would have too. I don’t care how many times I have to save Alyssa’s ass, it will never make up for the gift she and Lysander have given me by restoring you.”

GRRR this part of the series had a carnal quality that I loved! This book is about Fallon! She's in love with new Alpha Aidan. How could she not be though he is yummy! She has a huge decision to make though. If she wants to be with him she must become a werewolf, no alpha can have a human for a mate. Fallon never asked to be part of vampires and Werewolves so she doesn't think she wants be a werewolf. She's not the only one either, there a members of Aidan's pack that agree with her they want her gone! Will she go through with it or will so done kill her before it is time.
These werewolves are viscous and hate anything that isn't there's. Especially the girls. I loved it!! Fallon is a kick ass character who when she loves someone will fight tooth and nail for them!
This series hasn't let me down yet!
LOVE IT

I loved this! In Moonlight, we get Fallon's POV, and her struggles with her boyfriend Aiden's wolf pack. Fallon is unsure if she wants to become a werewolf, so she has been holding off on making the decision, but her time is up because Aiden's pack is pressing the issue, and doesn't want a human as their Alpha's mate. Aiden was really wonderful in this book, and there are some really great sexy times between Fallon and him. Fallon was a tough chick, and I loved her sass. I would have liked a bit more seriousness from her at times, but I still really liked her. I love all the wolf pack politics, well really, I loved all of the wolf stuff. I enjoyed reading about Fallon coming into her own, and finding her way with the pack. Fallon has to deal with some of the pack treating her poorly and finding out what is right for her, and I just loved how Aiden was there for Fallon. You don't necessarily need to read the other books in this series to enjoy this one, but Fallon and Aiden are in the previous books, and those books show a bit of Fallon and Aiden growing close, so that's nice to read. This was short, sweet, and awesome! Great addition to this series!

From page one this book was nothing but Sex, action, and love! and I LOVED it!! There were times where I felt for Fallon, but other times I was just thinking, Damn girl if you don't want to make the change for Aiden I will. "Call it selfishness if you want, but I'd never been the kind of girl who changed for anyone- or any man. Love me for who I am, or don't love me at all. That's the way I've always operated. But Aiden was a different case. How could I deny this man? With him I wanted to be the perfect woman, but that meant I would have to change more than just my hairstyle: I'd have to change my species." As I said Fallon if you don't want to change for that hotness of a man I will. I also learned that no one and i mean NO ONE messes with Fallon as Aiden might do things to people but it's Fallon who shows how strong she can truly be. "She is standing right here. Don't talk about me like I'm not." Then there was that Dianna bitch she ughh!! and Micah what the hell that selfish bastard! To put it bluntly I can't wait to see what Katie has up her sleeve for her next book!

‘Moonlight’ is a companion novella to the author’s Immortalis series. I’d never read any of the Immortalis series, but ‘Moonlight’ was a great story and stood well alone. Fallon is a human with a werewolf lover (who is the Alpha of the pack) and it has come down to the point when they need to make a life-altering decision. Either Fallon becomes a werewolf, she and Aiden break up, or Aiden leave the pack. Even though this is a tough enough decision on its own, it is compounded by outside factors. Aiden and Fallon are charming characters who have amazing chemistry together. I liked how Fallon didn’t back down from a challenge even though she’s human. ‘Moonlight’ is well-written and intense with steamy sex, dynamic fights, and aching suspense. I’ll have to check out the rest of this series!

Moonlight is a short paranormal romance (90-100 pages). It was nice, there was romance and romance. You can read it easily and it can be read as a stand alone. I haven't read the Immortalis series but I wasn't lost by the context and the world created by the author.

The heroine, Fallon is a human girl who's in love with a werewolf. Aiden is the Alpha of his pack and is expected to be mated with a werewolf female, to make lots of puppies. Fallon has a choice to make: either she turns into a werewolf, die trying, or she leaves her mate. It's not easy for her but eventually she'll know what she wants to do.

However, a few members of the pack aren't happy about it, and Aiden and Fallen will have to handle it.

A quick read, with nice characters.

Moonlight by Katie Salidas is Book 1 of the Olde Town Pack Series and a companion novella to the Salidas’ Immortalis Series. While part of the other series, this book can be read as a standalone without any issues or difficulties.

This is a complete read that gives us readers a winning combo of paranormal, romance, action, twists and turns, and one kickass storyline. Kudos Ms. Salidas!!

*I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book*

I am a huge fan of this series. Fallon is definitely one of my favorite characters in the series and I was glad to read a book centered around her finally. It was interesting to learn a little about werewolf customs in more detail. I would like to read a story about Brady getting his HEA. He is always there assisting but we don't really delve into his life much. Now I am off to read book 5.....

This book claims to be book one in a series. And although on Amazon it states that characters in this book are from two others series, it didn't state that these other series should be read first but that is exactly how I felt. So I almost gave up reading it because I felt lost and confused because I hadn't read those other books first.

As for the story itself, it was okay. Kind of disappointing.

I loved this Old Town Pack story. Fallon is a great character and your heart goes out to her as she has to make some heart wrenching decisions that result in a fight for life and love. Aiden and her relationship is steamy, tender and you can not help but want them to be together. This story has action, betrayal, sex, love and battles, it is fast moving and will keep you entertained from start to finish.

Fallon has had her share of up's and down's. Her best friend is a vampire and her new boyfriend is a werewolf, cementing the fact that the Supernatural world truly exists within the confines of her mind. She survived an attack against her by the Acta Sanctorum, a vicious group that believes that all vampires must be wiped out at all costs. While she didn't come out of the encounter completely unscathed, she's grateful for the fact that she's still alive and kicking.

The only good thing about her ordeal is the fact that she got to meet the lovely Aiden. His good looks and charm caught her attention from the get-go and she knows she'll do anything to keep his attention riveted on her, no matter what. Yet as their relationship progresses, Fallon soon realizes that a human living within a werewolf world has some serious disadvantages.

While Aiden may be the Alpha of his pack, there are those that see her as a threat. In their eyes, she's not worthy of taking the position of becoming the pack's female Alpha. Her humanity adds a thorn to the packs side as they see it as a serious weakness. She knows that she'll need to make a decision as to whether she'll remain a human or convert to a werewolf. Yet deep inside, she knows she's not quite ready for that type of commitment.

Her love for Aiden grows further every day. She knows he's the one who completes her in every way possible. Yet the thought of dying within the transition in becoming a werewolf, or a vampire, for that matter, frightens her. Aiden has been nothing but patient with her and he's willing to step aside from becoming Alpha if it's what will truly make her happy. Fallon knows that leading the pack is something he can do very well. She's seen him in action many times and she's proud of him in every way possible. Yet she cannot allow him to walk away from the one thing that brings him the utmost joy.

As tensions mount and attempts on her life are made, Fallon soon realizes that she'll need to take the bull by its horn and make a decision that will either make or break her. Granted, whatever decision she makes, it'll definitely be a difficult one. She's unwilling to bow to the pack's forceful demands and soon finds it within herself to rise to the occasion. All's fair in love and war, she surmises, and vows to show those who are against her exactly what she's made of.

Moonlight is another great addition to the Immortalis series. I truly enjoyed this quick and very invigorating read. The story flows along very well nicely and it was delightful to see Fallon's side of the story. The hot and sexy scenes between her and Aiden were very well written. If you haven't had a chance in reading this great series, you should definitely check it out. You'll enjoy it just as much as I did, I'm sure.

omg... I'm blown away yet again. Another great book by Katie that definitely lets us get to know even more of our characters, which is definitely exciting and definitely right up my alley. This book is gripping , with just the right amount of steaminess and just the right amount of romance , where we finally get a look at the pack that also belongs to the Olde Town and Little Werewolf series. A great read, and I'm looking forward to knowing more!

This novella features Fallon from the Immortalis Series with appearances from both vampires Alyssa and Lysander. Fallon has found her true love in the werewolf Aiden. Now alpha of his pack, Aiden 's wolves resist Fallon as his mate because she's human. As challenges arise, Fallon has to decide to give up her humanity and risk the transition to wolf to acquire her HEA. Fast-paced and simmering with more heat than the other novels in series, Moonlight is full of action, betrayal, and love for a good quick read. I’ve enjoyed all of Katie Salidas’ books in the Immortalis series, so I looked forward to reading this one. "Moonlight (Immortalis Vampire Series Book 5)" carries on the series and shows us Fallon, Alyssa’s best friend, and Aiden, werewolf Alpha of the Olde Towne wolf pack. As in the previous three books prior to this one, Fallon is human and deeply in love with Aiden. When Aiden’s father died, Aiden became Alpha by blood, not by trial. Part of the ritual in becoming the true Alpha, means he must have a wolf mate. The pack has trouble-accepting Fallon as the Alpha female because she is not a wolf. So now, Fallon must face the decision of either turning away from Aiden & the pack, leaving them all behind, or accept her destiny & become a werewolf herself. However, there is dissension in the ranks of the Olde Towne wolf pack. Two other werewolves want the role of Alpha and will do anything to get what they want.

I have enjoyed how author, Katie Salidas, builds her characters & their world, & fits together each facet of her story. As I said, I looked forward to reading this story. I hoped that she would put as much creativity into her description of turning werewolves as she did turning vampires. It was not as I had hoped, but she did not disappoint. There were points in the story that I felt needed a little more punch. For instance, though Fallon fought her final fight with due diligence, I would have liked to have read that Fallon took the final blow to her nemesis instead of the pack becoming involved. With Fallon going through all that pain and agony & nearly being killed, it felt somewhat anti-climactic to have the pack finish the fight. Showing the pack as supportive here worked for the story, but I felt that Fallon was gypped.

Though I have my opinions on minor details that I feel would better if written differently, it doesn't steal from the fact that Salidas did an awesome job with this story! I must say, these books get better with each one.

Moonlight by Katie Salidas

This review was originally posted on Big Al's Books and Pals review blog on November 6, 2012

This book is a companion novella to Salidas’ Immortalis series that I have not read yet, but I feel this could stand on it own. The author did a good job developing the characters early on; I understood the importance of the choices that had to be made. Fallon is a strong likeable human who doesn’t like to be told what to do, this is a quality she has working for her. Aiden was born a wolf and is the son of the fallen Alpha. The weight on his shoulders is great but he refuses to pressure Fallon into making a decision. I think this speaks a lot to his character. The author doesn’t waste any time setting the scene and developing the tension that the whole wolf pack is feeling, that there is a potential war brewing. Everyone’s nerves are on edge and alliances are forming behind closed doors.

The story is told through Fallon’s eyes, so we get to intimately know what she is thinking. When the pressure gets to be too much she thinks it might just be better for her to leave Aiden behind. She runs to her vampire friend Alyssa and her maker Lysander. This is where reading the Immortalis books first would have given more insight, but we are given enough to understand they are allies with the wolf pack, there was a common enemy they joined together to overcome. The plot moves fast and Fallon’s actions are understandable. There are politics, bigotry, bloody battles, steamy sex scenes, and humor all rolled into this novella. The only thing I felt was missing in this story was a little foreplay; I know they are werewolves with animal instincts and all that, but I missed the foreplay. *blush* I think if you enjoy Patricia Brigg’s Mercy Thompson series or Ilona Andrew’s Kate Daniels series you will enjoy this story. Now, I need to go catch up on the Immortalis books. And I am hoping that there is more foreplay with her vampires. Geez, I’ve said too much, haven’t I?

FYI: This book contains adult language and situations.

Format/Typo Issues: No significant issues.

I received this book for an honest review

From the first page I was hooked. It had action, romance, and suspense.....it is outstanding!

Fallon is a human who happened to fall in love with a werewolf named Aiden. But Aiden is not just any werewolf; he is the Alpha, the current leader of the Olde Town Pack. Fallon wants to be with Aiden no matter what but it’s more complicated than most people think. In order to stay with Aiden Fallon will have to make the ultimate change.....she will have to change her species. Not only does she have to worry about the change and staying with Aiden, she also has a problem with earning the loyalty and respect of the pack, especially with the females. Conflicted with what she wants and what other's tell her she needs to do, Fallon will have to make a choice that will change her future forever.

When I first saw this book I thought it looked very interesting and it is something I would enjoy reading. I was really happy when I started reading it and found that I loved it!! The plot was really unique and fun to read. I've read a lot of werewolf books before but this novella goes beyond that, the characters Aiden and Fallon were such amazing characters. Aiden was strong, passionate, witty, and an outstanding leader. Let's not forget his awesome mate Fallon. I loved Fallon character immediately, she was easy to relate to and a very brave person. I found myself looking at how much of the book I had left to read and wishing that it would magically slow down because it was that awesome of a story. After I read this story I looked up the author to see if she had another story about Fallon and Aiden and was pleasantly surprised that this story was a companion novella for Salidas' Immortalis Series. I was excited that the author had other books I could read and I intend to buy some of her books now!! Katie Salidas is an amazing author, I am definitely a fan of her writing now. If you are looking for a gripping, exciting, action and romance filled book you should read this. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Moonlight is Book 4.5 in the Immortalis series. This is Fallon and Aiden's own little story and it sure packs a punch!

Due to the fall of Connor in the battle with the Acta Sanctorum, Aiden is now the leader of the Olde Town Wolf Pack. He is in love with Fallon, who is unfortunately a human. Pressure has been building for Aiden to pick an Alpha female to rule by his side, but she has to be a wolf. Letting Fallon in on the secret but not pressuring her to decide if she wants to undergo the transformation has cost Aiden, and the patience of his pack, too much time. It's now a critical do or die moment. Will Fallon choose to stand next to Aiden as a wolf, will she walk away and allow him to choose someone else, or will Aiden step aside and lose Alpha status in order to stay will Fallon?

The pack is unfolding at the hinges and sides are being chosen; those for Aiden and a transformed Fallon (if she decides to go there) and those for a new leader. The time has run out and even if Fallon decides to risk the transformation it may be too late. There are already too many pack members that want to see her gone, one-way-or-another, and they don't care if she's human or wolf. So while holding on to her humanity is very important to Fallon, her humanity may force her lose everything.

This is a very exciting companion novella. Fallon finds herself the object of hatred and is constantly looking over her shoulder. Her gut decision is to walk away from the pack and let Aiden choose someone more suitable for the Alpha female position. After discussions with Alyssa and Lysander, however, she realizes that walking away from Aiden isn't the solution. Moonlight is an emotion invoking novella filled with love, lust, hate, and betrayal.

Everything about this book keeps the reader engaged and unwilling to put it down until the very last word.

Fallon is in love with an Alpha Werewolf named Aiden. Aiden is being pressured to take a Werewolf mate. Fallon is human so in order to be Aiden's mate she must make the change. She is not so sure that she wants to do that yet. She likes being a human. She doesn't want to be all furry. There are many werewolves that are against her. One wants to be Aiden's mate or any Alpha's ate for that matter. Another wants to be Alpha so he wants Aiden out of the way. Even Aiden's own family members are starting to turn against him. What's a girl to do? Become a wolf to keep her man or walk a way and leave him behind.

This seems like time to go visit her best friend who is a Vampire. While there she talks to her friends boyfriend and another Vampire. They all help her realize what is truly important to her.

I liked the book but I did not like it as much as the other books in the series. I think that there was a lot of brutality in this book. And what could be considered an almost attempt at domestic violence. The process to turn into a werewolf in this series is definitely different then any other book I have read. It is unique for sure and it is a good book. It really is all in how you interpret things. I do recommend reading but you do want to read this series in order so you can see how Fallon and Aiden met. Read it with an open mind and not with the idea in your head of how you think werewolves should be. I do look forward to reading more books by this author.

Fallon was head over heels for her alpha wolf and wanted to spend forever with him. The only thing is to have her happily ever after she would have to be turned into a wolf. As much as she loves Aiden she wasn't sure she was ready or willing to give up her freedom and all of herself to the pack and become something else. The only catch is if she doesn't transform one of a few options happen, she would then have no choice but to leave Aiden because the pack will never except a alphas mate to be human or Aiden decides he can’t live without her and gives up his rightful spot as alpha and leaves with her And the pack falls into anarchy. Or lastly Aiden is forced to leave her and take one of the other she wolf that have already expressed the deep interest in her man and her death. Whatever she choices she is in for the battle of her life.

Moonlight is an interesting hot quick read. The overall story was good. Aiden is very sexy and I love his relationship with Fallon. They have lots of hot steamy sex. I did not like Aiden’s brothers choices it didn’t seem like something he would do when you first meet him in the beginning. It was very confusing why he would act so disloyal. Fallon was a bit too stubborn over the whole turning issue, it bugged me a bit. But she completely redeemed herself when she stood up to bitch she wolf! I though the overall story was entertaining and fun.
